The Bigger Picture, Redefining Failure As Not Defeat// LOH Contest #263.
Picture this, failing/negative and succeeding/positive, Hello beautiful Ladies, it's my pleasure to bring to all this great minds my own little piece of the cake 😁.

We were grouped into 3 groups in my department with each group having a different project to work on and the scores we would get from what we were crafting would be made our assignment scores, and because I was the course representative for my department I was asked to look for who can do the crafting for us, I did my research and we found someone who is in the fine & applied art department so we paid him and had him craft for the three groups, it was actually a huge sum of money but because everybody was contributing we didn't really feel it, time for submission came and we brought out our works for the lecturer to assess, she commended on the other two group work except for my own group because according to her even though our work was so beautiful in the eyes it wasn't strong enough.
By the way I wasn't the group leader for that project but for no reason the lecturer kept picking at me and in my own definition she really targeted on getting on my nerves, after she rejected our work and asked that we redo that same project mehnn it was hard, I felt like cursing her at that point it was just anger boiling inside me but I do well know that inorder for me to pass without any unnecessary drama I needed to act the fool part to get what I want, it took us weeks to get the perfect texture of what she wanted infact at some point we thought to just give up and get lesser scores according to what she would give but for no just reason we picked up again and submitted our work, Hmmm when we brought it she said she will no longer accept it because it came in late so she would be changing it to be a presentation for just our group and that we would have to research on the topic, rehearse on it and come and present it to her before sending it to her Email.
At that point I was feed up just when I was this close to getting down with having to deal with this woman she always finds a way to frustrate us, that one too more weeks that we had to stay back in school when others had go e home for break to finish that project that wasn't up to 10 marks, I mean was it worth it? definitely a big Noo but I knew what the devil was at, if we had accepted defeat and embraced failure we would definitely be drawing that line of war with the lecturer and she would have purposely given us a very low score or even carry overs but because we know better not to settle for that option we just had to press and the best part of the story was that at the end we became good friends with her.
So my take on failure is that it's as well equal as success because sometimes it's our push button to uncover a bigger aspect of us, if you failed a 100 times in doing something you didn't just fail, you found 100 ways to make that thing work out for you, we actually didn't let those setbacks termed as failure to define us but we used it to earn a bigger portion than others did, we definitely learn good lessons from the whole saga that we may not have learnt even while working with the lecturer and to you failure should mean that a opportunity to identify your areas of weaknesses and improve on them.
We fail all the time and no one is perfect so don't feel bad that it happened to you, see it as an opportunity for greater heights. Thank you all for your precious time lovelies 😘, peace out ✌️.

Nice realization Sis. I can relate to how you want to get better grades but sometimes no matter how hard we try to achieve straight A's there will always be unforeseen circumstances that we need to consider that could either make it or break it so it takes acceptance to move forward whether the result is favorable to us or not.
Very true, acceptance is what we need at this point, I couldn't have known about such unseen circumstances if I hadn't experience it. Thanks for commenting 👍
Starting again can be hard, but in this life we gats to start again

Awesome work @graceze! You're truly dedicated to Hive and making an impact with your daily posts.
Looking at it from this aspect it looks positive but I never saw it like this at first, my lecturer really brought out something in me. Thanks for reading through it's my pleasure
This makes me wonder what your Instructor/lecturer's motives are when that woman was getting on your case. Is it personal? Or is there a point that she didn't make very well.
Many years ago, I had an Nursing Instructor that all the students hated because she was a tough as nails drill Sargent styled teacher, I finally figured her out why she is the way she is, so when I understood her motives and rationale I came to trust her judgement. I was right, and that is why her students often finish at the top of her class.

Sometimes these lectures make us do something not necessarily because they hate us but because they know we can do better. But we just want to get things done fast and be done with it.
But I can relate.... it's frustrating.
Yess not necessarily because they hate us, it was frustrating but we learnt.
