A Taste Of Nigeria's Rich Culture And Warm Hearts// LOH Contest #259.
Happy Sunday and a happy new week to the beautiful Ladies in the house, it's so lovely to see beautiful faces here again, I hope you are all doing perfectly okay? This week's contest topic is a big assignment and as a very inquisitive plus intelligent student I said to myself why not enter the shoes of an expert in tourism so in that note I would be participating on the contest topic which says 1️⃣ According to my post retirement financial model, I could almost afford an overseas trip every other year. I'd like my Hive sisters or brothers to plan my 3-day visit to your home town or city. What would we do and where would we go for me to experience your culture?
You know I have searched thoroughly and I have come to the conclusion that I can't take you to the places I haven't gone plus I have no knowledge of, so I would be giving base on my own knowledge of our culture, and culture can be simply seen as the way of life of a particular people in a particular geographical area, meaning that culture is not just centered on your tribe, it could also be seen as attributes way beyond your tribe, what I am implying is that I would not be central talking about your spoken languages but rather the way of life in which we live in our country and I am basically a Nigerian so I would be talking about Nigeria culture.
I would like to use this opportunity to say thank you for trusting in me to handle your mini vacation, it's such a privilege to have a wonderful companion like yours, so upon your arrival I would sharply take you to a nice eatery so that you can have your first bite of Nigerian delicacies and I might as well start your our favorite Nigeria Jollof rice with a little touch of goat meat pepper soup, after which we would go for appetizers where you get to digest the food you have eaten and have the best bite of the season depending on your preferences.
Then we would go to my house or perhaps the already arranged accomodations where you get to shower, take enough rest till the next day where we will begin the main touring, in my list of places to go to i have an artist workshop, my church, a cinema, my school and most especially we would take a walk in the street of either Lagos, Abuja, Jos or anywhere we are meeting so that you can get to see different kind of races and how they love their lives, I would definitely take you to the ghetto so you see what survival means in Nigeria because it's there that you learn alot about our culture, by just exploring that aspect of Nigeria you would get alot of lessons out of life and for sure your mini vacation would be worth it.
I always love companions and I know you will have alot of questions to ask, don't worry I love chatting so I would be of my best behavior to have answers to them, we would definitely take enough pictures or even videos, we would go to church where you would see a different atmosphere and all of that, I may not offer you the world but I come with these little package that tells of our way of life and the meaning of that life itself, images pictures and histories of things that has happened. It would be an opportunity hosting you, thank you for your time given inorder to get a briefing, I hope it was worth the wait, I can't love you guys less.

Wow this is a beautiful piece to read. I'm sure your visitors are never bored. Thanks for sharing.
Nah they are never bored, thank you for stopping by !LADY
You're welcome
Good, I’d prefer not going to tourist traps or segregated vacation destinations but to experience real unfiltered life among working Nigerians. Besides, I don’t think my local African restaurant serves authentic rice Jollof. I am a Baptist in practice, and I am very aware of the dangers Christians face in Nigeria. I would love to attend your church and witness the kind of faith that can stand up in the face of violent persecution, something our churches have in Canada starting to experience.
Thanks @graceze 🙏

I love the way you say real unfiltered life because that's exactly what you would experience in the supposed vacation, and my church would be a topnotch choice you would make. Thank you very much !LADY

Thank you @hive-124452
The gastronomy of each place, city, and country is a way to learn about the culinary culture, and it's a great idea to take @kerrislravenhill to a restaurant. A trip always works up an appetite. I'd rather stay at your place than make a reservation; I prefer the warmth of home. And the suggestion of going to church would make me feel right at home. Good luck in the contest! God bless you 🙏🏼
