Most Expensive Acquisition
At about the halfway point of last year, I was finally able to procure a laptop and I was ecstatic that I will make significant strides in my tech journey and progress rapidly.

I began to install the necessary apps and softwares in the laptop and then proceeded to learn the necessary skills from people and from online resources as well.
It proved to not be as easy as I envisaged. Not only because of the complexity of the learning itself but also because I faced significant time constraint due to my work and schedule.
Due to these factors, my learning was not as smooth as it was planned.
However progress was made, although little.
I have also come to realise that the laptop is not the only hindrance that I had. Although in the absence of a laptop, every other challenge seems absent.
Regardless of challenges, having a laptop has made a lot of difference for me. The little time I have put I to learning have yielded much fruit as a testament to the efficiency of having a laptop. I am now able to not only learn theoretically but also to practicalize what I learn as time goes on.
As a result of my experience, I encourage anyone who is interested and in need of a laptop to go ahead and procure one. Even though I know about the cost implications and difficulty, I also know that it helps one go a long way in learning a skill.
In my opinion, buying the laptop was worth it even though I am yet to maximise it's use. I am well aware of the potential I can fulfill with it with a little more time dedicated to it. As a result, it is my intention to restructure my calender and arrange my schedule such that I have more time for my extra curriculars.
If the finance is available, not only will I purchase a laptop, I will also invest in other things that makes the usage of a laptop easy and efficient. Things like a standard, fast internet connection like using a starlink, also having constant electricity like using a solar powered circuit, having projectors and printers, etc are all going to make the journey much easier for me too.
So yes, I will make the same decision again and even invest more in making sure that it makes my experience worthwhile.
If this goes to plan, then the laptop which was my most expensive acquisition of last year will be superceded by the acquisition of solar panels and a high speed internet connectivity.
