Choosing Between Quantity and Quality
There's a reason why people regard food as medicine and some even call it the best medicine.
The most recurring expense in the finance of every family or individual is feeding.
Food is one of the most important things that man cannot substitute. One way or the other, one must eat.
It is even said that "a hungry man is an angry man" and this is a testament to the adverse effects of not eating food.
I am no different from every other person out there. Before I sleep, I have already thought about at least one meal for the next day. Yes, it's that serious.
I am a simple man whose ideas of food is very simple more often than not, but occasionally, cravings set in.
On a regular day, I am as interested in quantity as much as quality in a ratio of about 60:40.
Afterall, who does not love quality food? But I know that quality alone would not bring my desired satisfaction.
Once in a while, I begin to seek a particular quality in food and on such days, I totally disregard quantity, just give me the delicacy, no matter how small.
Inorder to enjoy quality and quantity together, I prefer home cooked meals. This is because, buying food is so expensive that before buying a satisfactory quantity, you must have spent a big chunk of your money.
So to avoid this, I insist on home cooked meals as much as possible because that way both quantity and quality is assured.
Whenever I am hungry, which is often more than three times a day, I seek food.
I am not one to rely on a time schedule for eating as my system always finds a way to disconnect from a schedule.
I take every moment as they come.

I agree with you that it's best to have home-cooked food rather than buying outside. You can definitely save money and can have an assurance of good quality and quantity you desired.
Exactly and anyway to save money is definitely accepted in these hard times.
