Celebs, Fans and Haters

A lot of people generally don't know how to control themselves. They act wildly and weirdly, displaying extreme attitudes that are uncalled for in certain situations.

These sets of people react in unexpected ways when they meet with celebrities. Some perform acts that they get to regret afterwards.

Celebrities usually walk about with security even to climb the stage at their own concerts or shows. This is because of the unpredictable nature of fans and others who will be in attendance.

The aggressiveness I see in various threads and short videos nowadays is alarming. I remember seeing a video of Cardi B performing on stage and then someone in the crowd threw an object at her. She immediately stopped singing and threw the microphone she was holding in the direction of the attacker.

From the look of things, her revenge was on point even though I couldn't tell who exactly was responsible.

Truth is that some so called fans are envious of the lifestyle of the celebrities and sometimes jealousy gets the better of them.

It is also important to know that not everyone is a fan, some are actually haters and seek out ways to deal with these celebs. Not everyone who attends a show is a fan, regardless of how exorbitant the ticket fees are. Some are even fans of the celebs opposition or direct competition and desperate to prove their hatred.

These set of people always call out the celebrity and castigate them for one thing or the other. Keeping silent on good deeds while amplifying the shortcomings of these celebs. They could even go as far as fabricating stories to paint them bad.

I think people generally should be civil and hold themselves to high standards.
The aggressiveness doesn't have gender specificity or immunity. Both the male and female celebrities are affected in this too.

Everyone should be held responsible for their actions.
No one should be made to feel threatened especially while doing their job. Remember that these situations where celebs are usually seen is while they are performing at shows and concerts. Being too careful or scared while performing would greatly impact the quality of the performance. This should not be so.

The reaction of a celebrity when attacked would depend on the attack and personality of the individual.
Sometimes the reaction is expected because ignoring disrespect could brew more disrespect.
Letting one attack go will pass the message that it's ok to attack them because they are celebrities.

But civilization demands that due process should be followed as taking laws into their hands could degenerate beyond control and cause a serious problem.

The celeb may have more to loose if found wanted by the law. Especially if it happens in a foreign land. They may receive a ban from coming back into the country which would greatly affect their finances negatively.

Bearing this in mind, self control would be the watchword in every situation to avoid being unduly punished
