Greetings fellow travelers from @worldmappin, it is a pleasure for me to be making my first post in this community.

I want to share with you some images from this trip through the municipality of Jimenez in the state of Lara, to the town of Cubiro and its famous “hills.”

First of all, I want you to know that this place is one of the favorite destinations in this state, mainly due to its cool climate. Even when it is very hot, when we climb the hills, the weather changes. The sun's rays are not as intense because the breeze coming down from the mountains dissipates them, making this area an ideal paradise for camping with the family.

To get to Cubiro, take the Florencio Jimenez highway, reach the entrance to Quibor, and turn left.
Along this road, you will begin to see vendors selling handicrafts made from wood and clay from the area.

Further on, there is a place called “La Tinaja,” which has been set up to accommodate a large number of artisans who sell all kinds of handicrafts. Tourists will find parking and public restrooms there to make their stay more enjoyable.

A few meters away, we find the crossroads that leads to Tocuyo, Quibor, or Cubiro, and in the center of which we can see a large jar symbolizing the manual labor that is so characteristic of this area of Lara.

Along this road, small villages such as Cuara appear, with their rural houses, small church, and simple but pleasant square, a place frequently visited by villagers to chat or sit and rest from their daily work.

From there, you begin to climb the hill along this mountain road and feel the change in the breeze that cools the ascending path. Along the way, we encounter beautiful mountain landscapes with lush greenery, tall pine trees, lagoons, and livestock.

The road has many curves, and small places offering sweets or typical regional foods appear. The best part is the beautiful landscapes with abundant vegetation and a clear sky with high clouds.

As we enter the village of Cubiro, we see the arch that identifies the place, feel the mountain climate, and see some chalets and houses with beautiful entrances decorated with stones, trees, and pine trees.

Finally, climbing a little further, we reach the hills. The road is lined with kiosks selling all kinds of food, local sweets, and many other items that attract tourists and visitors.

The hills are mountains that always keep their grass green, where people spread out their blankets to rest, breathe fresh air, and have picnics.

An additional attraction in the hills, for adults and children alike, is horseback riding on a specially prepared trail.

The entire area surrounding this small town is full of beautiful landscapes that help visitors leave behind the stress and noise of the city. It is also an excellent option for spending time in nature, appreciating the beauty of this popular region of Lara State.

Haciendo turismo interno por la población de Cubiro.

Saludos amigos viajeros de @worldmappin, es un placer para mi estar haciendo mi primera publicación en esta comunidad.

Les quiero compartir imágenes de este recorrido por el municipio Jimenez del estado Lara, hasta la población de Cubiro y sus famosas "lomas".

Primeramente quiero que sepan que este lugar es uno de los destinos favoritos de este estado, debido principalmente a la frescura de su ambiente. Aunque esté haciendo mucho calor, cuando subimos a las lomas el clima cambia. Ya los rayos solares no son tan intensos porque la brisa que baja de las montañas lo disipa haciendo de esta zona un paraíso ideal para ir de camping con la familia.

Para llegar a Cubiro hay que tomar la autopista Florencio Jimenez, llegar a la entrada de Quibor y desviarse hacia
la izquierda. Por esa vía comienzan a verse los vendedores de artesanía hecha con madera y arcilla de la zona.

Más adelante, existe un lugar llamado "la tinaja", acondicionado para albergar un buen número de artesanos que se dedican a la venta de todo tipo de artesanía. Allíls turistas cuentan con estacionamiento y baños publicos para hacer más amena su estadía.

A pocos metros encontramos la redoma que direcciona los destinos hacia el Tocuyo, Quibor o Cubiro y en cuyo centro se puede apreciar una gran tinaja que simboliza el trabajo manual muy característico de edta zona larense.

A lo largo de esta vía van apareciendo pequeños poblados como "Cuara", con sus casas rurales, su pequeña iglesia y su sencilla pero agradable plaza, lugar muy visitado por los pueblerinos para conversar o sentarse a descansar de su faena diaria.

A partir de allí, se comienza a subir la cuesta por esta carretera montañosa y se siente el cambio de la brisa que va refrescando el camino ascendente. Por el camino encontramos hermosos paisajes de montaña con mucho verdor, altos pinos, lagunas y ganado.

La carretera tiene abundantes curvas y van apareciendo pequeños lugares que ofrecen dulces o comidas típicas de la región. Lo mejor son los hermosos paisajes con abundante vegetación y un cielo despejado con alta nubosidad.

Ya entrando al pueblo de Cubiro, vemos el arco que identifica el lugar, se siente el clima de montaña, se ven algunos chalets y casas con bonitas entradas adornadas con piedras, árboles y pinos.

Finalmente, subiendo un poco más, llegamos a las lomas. La carretera se llena de kioscos donde se ve todo tipo de comidas,dulceria criolla y muchas otras cosas que sirven de atractivo a turistas y visitantes.

Las lomas son montañas que siempre mantienen el verdor de su grama y donde las personas tienden sus sábanas para descansar, respirar aire fresco y hacer el picnic.

Un atractivo adicional en las lomas, para grandes y pequeños, es la monta de caballos que caminan o tratan en una pista especialmente preparada para ello.

Todo el entorno de este pequeño poblado esta lleno de paisajes hermosos que ayudan al visitante a dejar atrás el estrés y el ruido de la ciudad. Además, es una excelente opción para compartir un rato con la naturaleza, apreciando las bellezas que tiene esta popular región del estado Lara.
