Cold beer, art and party after a very heavy working week

As you may already know if you had the chance to read my previuos post in the #BeerSaturday challange, last week I was at a working meeting. It is customary for these meetings to have a welcoming cocktail and a farewell banquet. I already told you about the welcoming cocktail, but I haven´t had the chance to tell you about de farewell banquet.

Similar to the cocktail, the banquet which consisted in a very tasty meal, included free, unlimited beer. And as a beer lover I took my chance again, and drank. Guess what brand of beer! thats right "Victoria".

As soon as I got to the table I was served one, and from that time on I took at least another three beers before the meal.

The issue was that this was a very large meeting and there was about 1000 people to serve, so dinner was a bit delayed. Situation that I took advance of to have some more beers.

This time I got the chance to took pictures, so I could share it with you.

Conversation was interesting, I had the chance to re-unite with a friend I hadn´t saw for more then three years so I kept chating and drinking in a very nice evening.

The only thing I found not very well thinked was the desition to serve the meal at the same time that the cultural show was presented. You see, the place we were at is known by its very rich culture. So organizers decided to give us a taste of it culture and a very good set of artists presented ther dance shows. But for some reason organizers decided to make that at the same time that dinner was served, so we had to decide wether to eat or to enjoy the show.

So I could not take pictures from the first part of the show.

However, after the meal, I got closer to the stage I had the chance to document some of the dances they were doing.

Thing is this place is a very multicultural one so every region has its own dances and cultural expressions which they maintaing and cultivate. And we got the chance to enjoy a representation of several of this dances.
