Testing My own Pills.

Usually when I am working on a client and they keep complaining that they are feeling pains I just say sorry and remind them of the popular saying that " beauty is pain".

Maintaining my composure, my steez and beautiful while in pain.

Well I am here to tell you that I tested my own medicine and it was so damn bitter, yeah!.
I got dressed for Sunday meetings and I had an inspiration to dress in my Ankara material ( complete set) after dressing and applying some little makeup I then decided to tie my head. Mind you i am on braids, so I packed my hair up and folded it before tiring my head scarf.

I was feeling so beautiful in my outfit that I took some few pictures before leaving, I promised myself to take more pictures after the meeting.
Well my people,my own pain started right inside the meeting place, I was having serious headaches and feeling heavy as if I carried loads on my head( my braids were the load).
I really wanted to remove the scarf because I stepped out to do that, and someone complement my look and I smiled.
I said to myself " why not just mange it, after the meeting you can take it of!" That was how I managed my pain till after the meeting.

After the meeting I was so in a hurry to leave, I left and while on my way I told my hubby how I was feeling and that I wanted to take the scarf off and his reply was " aaaah why will you remove this fine scarf? Just wait we are almost home."
Dear readers that was how I managed my beauty with pain till I got home and took of the load, I was so relieved and the headache subsided.

My neck carried heavy load, while trying to stay fine.

I don't plan to try it again.
I will just keep my look simple with no headscarf.

I agree that beauty is pain. Even a facial at a clinic is painful.

Oh so braids do really hurt? I see some video in social media about people complaining of braids pain, I still doubt It does hurt cause I've tried braiding my hair but I guess it's just the usual braid, but now I know. Thanks for clarifying❤️
It's true sometimes beauty comes with pain, we tend to endure the process just to get the result we want, in our country we have this saying 'Tiis-Ganda' means enduring discomfort or pain for the sake of beauty, well I hope some of it would be worth it though❤️ Anyway you do look beautiful overall❤️ Have a nice day🎉

Kottless braids aren't painful and that why mine wasn't painful.
I only experienced pain because I packed it up.
