The Heavy Rain.

It is weekend, I'm happy because it was time to refresh myself and get ready for the new week.

Since the new month just started I planned on going to the market to restocking my kitchen with all the necessary foodstuffs, and after that I will also go an wash and retouch my hair, it was looking old.

All my plans for today became fruitless when the heavy rain fell. It started with a heavy wind that lasted for about 20 minutes before the mighty rain started.

The rain fell for hours. It rained for a while and stops, then it rained again and that was the pattern it followed till it was evening.

By 6pm, the rain stopped, I wanted to step out but decided to wait for a while to be sure it doesn't start raining again. After hours of staying indoors I finally went out and everywhere was filled with water, leaves were littered all over the street due to the heavy wind that accompany the rain.

A heavy rain it was today. The rainy season is giving us it's last dance this period before it paves way for the dry season that is already at the corner.

I can wait for the dry season to finally come, the rain has been ruining my well planned days.
