Spaghetti Westerns were initially popular because they satirized the American Western. If the American Western portrays America as a great hero, the Spaghetti Western opposes American heroism and justice!

By the way, Spaghetti Westerns quickly became obsolete, using the same story, characters, events, endings, and settings over and over again.

But, Spaghetti Westerns had a profound influence on heroic films in Japan, China, and Korea!
