My Googled Last–·The Quiet Cries We Type into a Search Bar

Seeing this prompt a few minutes ago, I was like, this should not be a new thing to anyone who has access the internet because we can not do in a day without searching for one of two things on the internet and majority of us usually make use of Google.

When I think of it, it is always amusing and hilarious to me that even the most smallest details we do not reveal to anyone, Google already know it because of our interaction with it. The Google search space has become our confession alter, a listening and attentive friend without judging us and a therapist's chair, even though it might not be 100% efficient, but it least it helps.

Seeing this post made me recall the last thing I searched on Google, which is, "how to stay stronger when life feels so overwhelming."

The last thing I Googled? “How to stay strong when life feels overwhelming.”

I had just come home after visiting one of the sites that I'm supervising, went out so early and those moments I spent outside my compound were emotionally draining and a long day for me to be sincere. Lately, my heart felt so unusually tired due to pulled up works, pressure here and there, getting my life together and the huge amount of money that i lost to CBEX ST investment platform, which was all a scam. As a reserved person and an introvert who does not interact much with people, I did what I usually do, picked up my phone, opened my browser and poured out the pain in my heart that I dare not speak loud.

The results I got were series of response from different blog post, YouTube videos with different suggestions on mental strength and durability. Going through some of these search results has thought me about mental resilience, though it was not all the search results that were useful. Luckily for me, one of the post I came across talked exactly on what I was feeling. It was as if the author has been in my shoes.

We have have different stories to tell about our search history and most often, it tells the stories that natural conversation cannot disclose properly. From, "the nearest store in my area", to the "fast food delivery output" to "how to communicate with the lady of my choice" or "how to communicate during an interview". The internet is being used for various reasons depending on the user ranging from finding solutions, comfort, exploring, research and other things.

I realised that my last search on Google has taught me series of impactful things and that behind everything we Google search is a human soul who wants clarity, peace and hoping for the best.

So my fellow Hivers and readers, share with me the last thing you Googled and were you able to find the needed answers?

Was it something like, how to fry a scrambled eggs"? Or it was something more impactful about you life, like "how to stand tall again when I fall"?

What ever you might have googled searched, I want to to always that you are not alone in this because one way or another, we are all searching for comfort, peace, love, rest and life purpose.
And trust me, for you to be searching is one of the courageous steps towards healing.

Thanks for reading through and having a wonderful day.
