MCGI Topic Review: is prayer enough to get closer to God?

Prayer is talking to God, but how many usually do the bidding of Gods words for our prayers to be answered, because we cannot just pray and remain on a point without doing the will of God if you do not want your prayers to be in vain.

As a Christian, after praying to God for a particular thing, we need to back it up with actions because prayer is a support of what you are asking from God. You cannot just ask God to provide your daily meals and you stay In your room without working, no, it does not work like that.

The bible does not say, pray and sleep. It says, pray which means ask, seek, which means put in your actions and knock which means be expecting the results of your prayers.

If you need something, you act to get that which you need because, God is not a magician. A lot of Christians usually pray and sit back for a miracle. No, it does not work like that. You need to act accordingly to what you have asked.
