Home or the Stars: Would I Leave Earth Behind?
Just yesterday, I came across this news on one of these popular blogs around where it says some people are planning to relocate from Earth. Well, I have been seeing similar news since thy kingdom come, but I do not think anyone has really made that move to relocate away from Earth.
However, when I am alone sometimes, or when I move out or travel and I see the long queue of cars waiting in line to get fuel, and after buying the fuel, we hit the road and start bumping into different potholes, then I begin to wonder, could there be a planet somewhere where there will not be any light potholes, scarcity of fuel, or where we need to be praying to God for NEPA to bring light, or be switching on a generator every night? What if there is somewhere like that?
Just like most countries are filled with natural disasters, corruption, poverty, suffering, and chaos, what if there is a place where those things I mentioned are not? Will I relocate there if I am given that opportunity?
Here is the truth of the matter now, jokes apart, the urge to move to that new planet will be high for me, because looking around my country, a lot of people are finding everything means possible to japa to Poland , US, UK, Portugal, Germany, France, Canada or any other developed country for a better life.
Now talking about a strange land, more or less an alien habitat where everything is natural, from planet growth to good jobs, and everyone is a patriotic citizen, who will not wish to move to that place?
Yet, the truth is not far-fetched. I could remember when I was having a discussion with one of my family members that relocated abroad; even though she got comfortable, she told me that place can be lonely at times because she missed that one-on-one interaction with us, the friendly jokes and laughter, the natural local foods, and even the view of the environment where kids will be running around. As cultural beings, these are some of the values that we share together as family in my country. And relocating to another planet, will I be able to get that?
And if I have to move to that planet, I will have to take along with me my cultural heritage and all the things I love. But the truth of the matter is that real happiness is not escaping the reality of life; it is about finding life balance between the good and bad. And when I move away to a planet where everything is smooth and perfectly made, how will I be able to stand the test of time?
So, am I going to relocate? Maybe. If this planet gives me no choice, I might be tempted to go, but I am certainly sure that I will miss all my loved ones, because the alien planet might not feel like home in the long run. And what is the essence of staying in a place where I do not feel a sense of belonging?
Thank you for reading.

So you would consider leaving earth to an alien planet, safe Journey Dave.
Earth isn't flawless, but the thought of leaving to a planet where adapting might be difficult, I will rather stay on earth .
No ooo, I didn't say that
I said if this planet becomes unbearable again, I might consider to
