RE: Just HOW Much Time Does a Person Waste, During the Day?

"When I say infrastructure stuff, I'm talking about such things as scooping cat boxes, stopping to water the garden, running to town for groceries, taking packages to the post office, making food, emptying the dehumidifier, emptying the dishwasher, sorting the recycling... the whole number of little "things of life" that constantly are coming up."

An enormous part of my day is spent on these things. As I go from one end of the house to the other, I am always doing something of this sort as I go. And often that means I forgot why I was REALLY going and have to do it again, resulting in more of this stuff getting done. And it all takes time and energy. And I end up doing the 1 thing I was after, so it seems like I've not gotten much done.

In the early morning I try to blank it all out in the house so I can get outside while it's cool. But often the same thing happens out there, as there's so much to do...
