Picking Trumpet Flowers to eat

Hello.

Today I went to the forest and picked flowers.
In my hometown, these horn-shaped white flowers are called Trumpet Flowers.
People in the area I am currently in call these flowers "Hin Ngote" flower.
It is a type of flower that is eaten as a dish when it blooms.
The taste is slightly bitter and eating these flowers is believed to be good for health.
Some people dry the leaves and drink them as green tea for health.

The top photo is of a trumpet tree taken from a distance in the early morning before the sun rises.

The bottom photo is of trumpet flowers being collected as they fall.

These flowers are cut into small pieces and dried.
Then, when we want to eat them, we can cook them as we like.
I usually eat these flowers as a salad and sometimes I fry them.

ဒီနေ့တော့ တောဘက်သွားကာ ပန်းပွင့်များ ကောက်ယူခဲ့တယ်။
ကျွန်တော်၏ မွေးရပ်ဒေသမှာတော့ ဒီ Horn ပုံစံ အဖြူရောင်ပန်းပွင့်တွေကို သခွပ်ပွင့် ဟု ခေါ်ဆိုကြပါတယ်။
ယခု ကျွန်တော် ရောက်ရှိနေတဲ့ဒေသက လူတွေကတော့ ဒီပန်းပွင့်တွေကို ဟင်းငုတ်ပွင့် ဟု ခေါ်ဆိုကြပါတယ်။
အပင်ကြီးမျိုးက ပွင့်သော ဟင်း အဖြစ် ချက်စားရသော ပန်းတစ်မျိုး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
အရသာသည် အနည်းငယ် ခါးပြီး ဒီပန်းပွင့်ကို စားသုံးပါ ကျန်းမာရေးကောင်းမွန်စေသည်ဟု ယူဆကြပါသည်။
အချို့ကတော့ အရွက်ကို အခြောက်လှန်းကာ Green Tea အဖြစ် ကျန်းမာစေရန် သောက်သုံးကြပါသည်။

အပေါ်ဆုံးပုံက မနက်ခင်းစောစော နေ မထွက်သေးခင် သခွပ်ပင် ကို အဝေးမှ ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ယူထားခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
ဒုတိယပုံသည် အပင်ပေါ်၌ ပွင့်နေသော သခွပ်ပွင့်များ ဖြစ်သည်။
အောက်ဆုံးပုံကတော့ ကြွေကျသည့် သခွပ်ပွင့်များကို ကောက်ယူထားခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။

ဒီပန်းပွင့်များကို သေးငယ်သော အပိုင်းအစများ အဖြစ် ခွါဖြဲပြီး အခြောက်လှန်းထားရပါသည်။
ထိုနောက် စားချင်သောအချိန်အခါ၌ သခွပ်ပွင့်အခြောက်များကို ကြိုက်နှစ်သက်သလို ချက်ပြုတ်စားကြပါသည်။
ကျွန်တော်ကတော့ ဒီသခွပ်ပွင့်များကို အသုပ် အဖြစ် စားလေ့ရှိပြီး တခါတရံလည်း ကြော်စားတတ်ပါသည်။
