Small Insects - a big World

(Edited)

Good morning dear friends and Photography Lovers 🤗📸🤗

The world of insects hides a real wealth of interesting and useful creatures. Today I show you one unusual inhabitants of nature: dragonflies! 🌿

He do not know how popular is for Us, Photographers 😊

Dragonfly is fast, elegant and almost silent flyer. The dragonfly is a real acrobat among insects – it can fly backwards, hover in place and cover great distances in search of prey.

It feeds on small insects, so it is an excellent ally in the fight against mosquitoes. Interestingly, it spends most of its life underwater as a larva! 🌳

Look around you – small insects play a huge role in maintaining ecosystems. Without them, there would be no pollination, no decomposition of organic matter, and no food for many other animals.

And this is all for Today dear Friends.

They were created between 2016 and 2019 with the Nikon CoolPix L840 and Olympus E-M10

See You Tomorrow 🤗🤗

I don't know either, I know that in the first post I received instructions from a friend to tag ocd and ocdb. Sorry if I'm doing something wrong, no one has told me that it's wrong so far

Tags should be related to the topic of your post. Ocd is a curation project, ocdb is another account of the project and people use it thinking they can get curated, which looks really bad and has zero results in this regard as no curator is giving out votes based on tags. You can tell your friend to avoid instructing people to tag these two accounts and learn about what tags are for. Better teach newcomers how the platform works and how they can post quality content, rather than looking for attention the wrong way.

It's a little clearer to me now... I won't be tagging ocdb anymore, that's for sure, I just hope everything else is okay.

No harm has been done, it's just frustrating and sad to know people are teaching newbies to do this.

Some of these dragonfly shots look really cool. And you took some angles that look really beautiful.

Those are so sweet, it is nice to know another Olympus user.
I really wish I can buy the zoom lens in the future. :)

The Olympus is my second camera and it's already quite old. I now have a Nikon D750, a beast of a camera. It would be great to have different lenses, but it all costs too much and we use it as a hobby.
