Poppy Season - Part Five

Good morning dear Friends, good morning Photography Lovers๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ“ธ

I will begin today's post with the famous verses of the poet and writer Mihovil Pavlek Miลกkin, I quote:
"This morning, the sleepy poppies bloomed again
in the wheat,
their red flowers have covered all our fields!

It seems like I only took photos of this red and fragile beauty in May 2020, so let's see part five together

What do poppies symbolize?
Poppies are a symbol of memories, dreams and transience โ€“ that's why I like to capture them in the moment, because I know they disappear quickly.

Photographing poppies is a moment of connection with beauty that doesn't last long โ€“ but remains forever in the picture. Besides, I've already written about how much this red beauty helped me in defying the damn Covid, how much it helped me in seeking peace..... In that beauty I knew how to find peace ....

And yes, it is truly impossible to pass by them without stopping and trying to capture that fleeting beauty.

All photos were taken with the Olympus E-M10 Mark III. The processing was done in Photoshop, through various filters, but somehow I preferred to finish them in Classic Soft Focus, so the soft photos follow.

And to end today's post, two black and white photos of this red, fragile beauty

This is all for Today, see you Tomorrow
