Creative Fantasy II – When Fashion and Art Talk

Yesterday I was invited to photograph (pro bono of course) the opening of an interesting exhibition called Creative Fantasy II. This is the second such exhibition, unfortunately I couldn't attend the first one due to commitments.

I conceived and prepared today's post in a way that it would contain collages of several photos, along with some individual ones.

So, let's go see together

The Creative Fantasy II exhibition opened yesterday in the hall of the Vocational School in Sisak, and will continue throughout September and October. It is an extraordinary presentation of original works by teachers from the Fashion, Textile and Leather sector — from unique clothing, footwear, bags, jewelry and fashion accessories, to ceramic works and photographs, to knitted and crocheted fashion creations. I highly recommend it to everyone, because these works are truly worth seeing.

And indeed, when we look at the exhibition, we can say with certainty that fashion has never been and will never be just clothing – it is art, identity, the voice of culture and a reflection of the time in which it is created. It is a reflection of personality, ultimately.

This is a continuation of last year's extremely successful initiative, and this year's edition brought an even richer, more innovative and more personal look into the world of fashion and design through the works of teachers of the Fashion, Textile and Leather sector from all over Croatia. I hope that next year we will see the third part of these wonderful creations.

With this collection of clothing and fashion accessories designed according to the latest trends, through handmade objects and installations, to stage costumes and interpretations of cultural heritage, we have immersed ourselves in something magical, something magical, something that attracts and deserves admiration.

And most importantly, this presentation of works opens the doors of the school to students, parents, the local community and all lovers of art and fashion, emphasizing the importance of creativity, aesthetics and design thinking in the educational process. Perhaps through it, one of the children will gain the desire to move in that direction, perhaps this exhibition will give birth to a famous fashion designer.
