A Story about a Train Station//MONOMAD CHALLENGE

Good morning, very early morning dear Friends in the Black And White Community πŸ™ŒπŸ“Έ

About ten days ago, I went with my camera to the train station in my city. It's one of the more special places in the city for me, where there's at least some movement. The station is a place where departures and arrivals meet. It's where excitement, nostalgia, and silence between two trains mix. Each platform holds the stories of passengers who are leaving for the unknown or returning home. At the station, time stands still in the lines of the timetable.Suitcases know more than people, and platforms remember promises made in a hurry. The train leaves, but hope always remains to wait for the next arrival and each one carries someone's story.

So, let's go see together his Story, but First

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

The station building was renovated a year before the terrible earthquake that hit us in December 2020. The earthquake showed that it was only renovated from the outside and that the work was obviously done poorly. Since then, it has been completely out of order, and has been falling apart for five years. It is likely that it will have to be demolished and a new one will have to be built.

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop Action-Black&White 1, 2 and 3.

This is all for Today, see you Tomorrow dear Friends!

Earthquakes are terrible, I have never experienced one and I am not looking forward to it in New Zealand where it an earthquake prone country.

Beautiful shots of the train station in black and white.
