A little more about my City...

And here we are again at the beginning of the week, happy Monday to you dear friends and Photography Lovers

I'll start the week here with another nice post about my city, so......

My city is not big, but it has enough of everything – peace, quiet, greenery and stories. Located on the banks of the Kupa River, it lives in the rhythm of the river. The bridge over the Kupa connects not only the two sides of the city, but also the past with the present. There, in the middle, I often stop – I look downstream, where the water happily reflects in the sun, and then upstream, where time seems to flow more slowly.

The park in the city center smells of linden trees and childhood. People call it the lungs of the city, but to me it's more like its heart – it's where glances, old friends and stray thoughts meet. On Sundays, you can feel the peace in the park, as if the entire city is breathing slowly, gratefully. And it was Sunday that day.

The promenade along the Kupa River is just long enough to calm a person. On one side, the sound of water, on the other, trees that know how to listen. Lovers are often silent there, but that silence speaks louder than words. In winter, the river is imagined, and in summer it shines as if painted – just as Slavko Striegl knew how to capture it. His hand and colors have left a mark – not only on the canvas, but also in our consciousness. In his paintings, the city still walks along old streets, under the caps of old umbrellas and behind windows that know how to keep secrets.

My city is not big, but when I love it, it grows.
