"Visiting Our Vacant Lot at Barangay Punta Silum Manticao, Misamis Oriental"

Cultivating and having a productive areas are very good and perfect, this can give us a chance to become better and be successful as a entrepreneur or in business acts. This time, we decided to to visit our vacant lot here in Barangay Punta Silum Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This place was not yet cultivated aside of the big fruit trees can be seen in the place. My Parents have plans to plant more vegetables here so the place can be a productive and usable to produce more plants and vegetables. It was a beautiful and sunny day during our visits, and it was really perfect for wandering around this relaxing place.

As we arrived on the place, I instantly went this big Jackfruit tree located at the middle of the place. I was very happy to this fruits bares on the tree and so my Parents. We started to wrapped it with empty sacks so that no insects can sting this fruit. If this fruit will contains even a small damages, this will turn into black color and wethered. Jackfruit or Nangka in local term is very demanded here in our Public market. That is why, it is good to produce more of this kind of fruit.

There are lots of big trees can also be seen here just like this one. We called this one, Kaloot tree and this is really perfect for furniture and other house porpuses. We don't want to cut this tree because it gives a shady and cool areas. It can help also to prevent the place from being eroded due to heavy rain and floods. This tree almost 45 years already according to my Father, I was very amazed with this majestic tall tree here in our place.

This is our resting area. It contains a cool place here because of this big tree. We also eat here in this area during lunch time and sitting while talking about the important matter. Last time, this area was filled with many grass that is why we hired some people to clean the place and now, the area was already cleaned and the only thing left was this dried leaves on the ground.

This is what we called Kaimeto tree. Children loves to eat the fruit from this tree because it is very sweet and nutritious. The branches of thia tree is also perfect to use as firewood for cooking foods. Charcoals are the best also out of this tree and it can sell the charcoals to our Supermarket. This is a kind of seasonal tree, meaning it bares fruit every month of July, we cleaned and removed the grass surrounded in this tree so that the area will become clean.

Next is this manggo tree, we decided to burned the leaves near at this tree so that it will bare more fruits. We don't use any kinds of synthetic materials and only the smoking process comes from the dried leaves is what we always do. For now, there are many flowers already in this tree and soon the fruits will started to out also.

This pile of sacks contains many fertile soil and it is ready for planting activities. We will plan to pour the contain fertile soil on the plots we will make after cleaning the areas. We don't use synthetic fertilizer instead we only use organic fertilizer. No side effects and it is safe to eat because there are no chemicals involve.

I tried to checked some perfect spots for vegetable plotting and I found this area. Last visits, we removed the grass from this place but now, it started to grow up again. For me, this is the perfect place for planting my vegetables, the soil is very fertile and exposed to sunlight. This is very perfect for my Squash, okra and Cucumber vegetables.
