Greetings everyone, its been a long time since I did not create any fungi and mushroom post here in our community due to a slightly busy situations. My article today is all about the good contributions of mushroom plants in our surroundings, and the bad effect of intense heat in the Nature particularly in mushroom and any fungi plants grows in our place. This is very sad for us because of the climate change we already experienced and not only is will be affected but also the plants and animals. Here in our Country, there are lots of Fungi and mushroom plants can be seen and found, only few of it can be eaten and the rest is for seeing only.

In this article, I have made a three categories or topics related in the pictures:

Categories/ Topics:

  • Name and Descriptions of the mushroom.
  • The Good Contributions of the society and Nature.
  • Bad effects of climate change such like Intense heat.

Here in our place, we learned and know the names of some of the mushrooms we find here and as for that, I will share the names of the mushroom one-by-one.

This is what we called, Elephant ear Mushroom. It grows very wide and big and mostly found in the rotten coconut tree. The surface of this mushroom is very hard and rough, it can't be eaten but it consists of fascinating colors like black, brown, orange and whitish. It lives up to many days or months.

This kind of mushrooms are smaller than elephant mushroom, it grows in a rotten branch of manggo trees and it contains a white color on its surface areas. There are also a line markings on the top of the leaves and it lives for many days or months. Different kinds of insects loves to fly around in this plants and some of it are red ants and bees.

There are lots of names of this mushroom in different places, but here in the Province we called it, Cone Mushroom. This is obviously called by its name because of the leaves shape like a small cone. Animals like cows and carabaos avoided to eat this because it contains a toxic substance and the dust from its leaves can make the people blind if it will accidentally puts in the eyes. It grows in the ground were many dry and rotten leaves scattered.

Some mushrooms lives on the rocks and branches of the trees and the life span of some of it will only 2 to 3 days. The example of it is this white mushroom. It lives up to 3 days only, when it reach to 3 days, the leaves will started to falled and withered. It can easily been removed because of its thin mushroom stalks.

This kind of mushroom is very dangerous to people and animals, the leaves of it contains a dust particles and it lives at the cool places just like under the trees, big stones and vast grasses. The growth behaviour of this mushroom also depends of the environment were many dry leaves can be found.

The Example of the Withered Mushroom caused by the Intense Heat:

These are the examples and images of the mushrooms that really affected of the intense heat happens in the place. If we really experienced heat from the sun or intense heat, not only us will be affected but also agricultural lands, animals and plants like mushrooms. The leaves will rotten and some of it are turning to dry and burn because of the heat. Not all of the mushrooms can grow in very hot places.

This two mushrooms is what we called Ash mushroom because it grows in the ashes places just like burned wood or trees. This pictures I captured at the burned coconut trees and it contains a fascinating and attractive views because of its colors and sizes.

The Good Contributions of Mushrooms to The Nature:

This kind of plants also helps to balance the Nature like the coolness, and it will also served as inhabited areas to all wild animals and insects that lives in the Forest. Our will become fascinating and contains a lot of paradise-like views or sceneries.
