The Day 3 Town Activities: AutoCross and Football Tournament

This is the 3rd day of activities here in Manticao, Misamis Oriental in celebration with our town founding anniversary. The main activities for today, are Autocross and football tournament. The Autocross activity was being held in Manticao Public Plaza, while the football tournament was also in Manticao, Central School. But first, I will share to all of you the big event happens in Manticao Central School. Exactly 8 AM when I arrived at the Public school, and the place was not yet being crowded by the People who wants to see the event or tournament. There are still only few people on that time and some of them are having a sleep over here in the school especially those players who came from far away places or outside the town.

The Local Government of Manticao did their best to conducted many exciting activities just like football and the most exciting part of the contest is open to other places or cities. The school ground is ready and the people continued to arrived especially those football players. The place was also secured because there are lots of security personels standby on the place, also the medical team and cleaners also in the place.

This place is perfect for this kind of big activities because of the wide and open ground. In fact, there are lots of activities are already done in here just like Baseball tournament, Freezbie and many more. 8:35 when the EMCEE started to announce to all football players to come in front of the gymnasium. After that, She started to roll called those players including their Municipalities or cities on were they lived. There are 6 Cities who joined this big event and this are:

• Cagayan De Oro City
• Bukidnon
• Ozamiz
• Zamboanga
• Iligan
• Tubod
• El Salvador
• The Players of Manticao

Before the game started, they take a sports oath so that the football tournament will become official started. Followed by the short speech of the Municipal officials and committee. They welcomed those visitors who came from far places just to join this tournament and they are very thankful about it.

The activities has already been started and first, they do a round-robin steps, which mean each group should competed with each other and those group will wins will be in the next step and that is the battle between the winners. When this will be done, the last challenge is the battle for the champion and this is the exciting of this kind of tournament.

Autocross: Like A Hive Feast For Me:

Honestly, I only seen a car showdown in internet or social media just like the HIVE FEAST were they gladly showed the cars with a design of a hive platform logo. This morning, I totally amazed of it, and finally I seen it personally how intense and dangerous of this kind of activities. This was helded in the Public Plaza and almost 30 kinds of Cars being brought in here. They drive the car very fast and dust was everywhere, despite of that, people ignored it because they already enjoyed watching the tournament.

To keep the people and visitors safe, the Local Government orders those authorized personels to maintain sa safety precautions just like avoiding crossing at the road were the fast cars running. They also alerting always for those people who will not follow the warning signs. Each access roads of the plaza was temporarily block by patrol cars so that there will be no other kinds of vehicles will passing in the place while the show is going on.

It was very dun and enjoyable to watch that activities. Those traffic cones standing at the middle of the road serve as a race track to all participants and the most small time consume during driving will wins. That is why the drivers of the cars always driving very fast to break the record.
