I remembered a Russian mountaineer who joined with us when we traversed the 2nd and 4th highest mountain here in the Philippines. At first, he wanted to traverse it all alone but he was not allowed to do it because the tourism protocol needs to be as a group and he's not a local so he went with us but he camped alone in his tent away from our group, not sure if you want to try camping alone

awwww. that story made me feel bad for that guy. I wouldn't camp alone. I already didn't much care for camping but doing it on my own would be scary to me. Camping is fun because of the company a lot of the time.
