City Lights During the Christmas Season

Sharing with you my Christmas vacation photos, as I checked my phone several pictures in my gallery where not yet uploaded thanks to this week's challenge I felt motivated to write something about my 2025 Christmas memories.

I celebrated the Christmas season in Luzon area for the first time, as I usually have it in Mindanao and sometimes in Visayas, I just mentioned the 3 major islands of the Pearl of the Orient Seas.

Fortunately, I was able to capture some captivating photos while taking a walk at the city where the famous Hundred Islands is located.

It's so nice to see the Christmas decorations all over the city hall and the plaza, the city government truly made special effort to make the city look attractive to local and international tourists who would visit their place.

I'm so glad that I experienced this rare opportunity to celebrate the Christmas season with my second cousin relatives.

Glad I have the courage and bravery to travel alone. Just a quick story to share with you while I was trying to buy a discounted fare ticket at the cashier, I told her that I'm going to avail the student price as I study online and still working on finishing the 3 remaining courses. The cashier did not consider the identification card that I used so I kept on insisting as the discount amount saves my fare expenses. Then came a lady who intervened, volunteered to pay a part of my fare just to settle things right away as she is more concerned of the senior citizens who are waiting at the queue she offered to pay the discounted amount I requested at the cashier whom I could say is somewhat ignorant of her duty to give discounted fare to students even those taking it online or virtual so the cashier took the payment of the lady just to put end to our transaction. I thanked the lady though I would feel better if I was able to assert my rights on that situation but it is difficult to deal with ignorant people.
