Meet Gloryjaff//My Introductory Post

I will love to introduce myself in a simple and comfortably way, sometime telling your story is not that easy and simple, it demands deep thoughts and honesty.

Hello! My name is Gloria Jafaru but people called me Glory, I prefer to be called Glory because it gives me confidence and makes me comfortable and happy. I enjoy using the name.

I am from Nasarawa state Nigeria. I was born into a family of seven and the rank of the position of the first child, 4 females and 1 male. My family often say that I am a good listener in the house. They share their secrets and worries with me because they know I can keep them and my friends, they always say that I am avoidant but in reality it's hard to talk first but I talk a lot when I get to know them better.

I value family and friends a lot because for me they are the most important things a person can have. Having someone you get to share your problem and worries together without being judged. I never fake who I am around them, I am always me.

I enjoy listening to music a lot and I am not that good in writing but I find peace in writing. For me writing feels like a safe place where I can put down all my thoughts, imaginations and worries that I can't share with anyone. Any time I am sad or happy or having a hard time I write them all in my pickie dairy. Because I feel safe and I understand myself more better.

My hobbies are singing, reading and travelling. I started reading novels and books when I was in secondary school because some of the characters felt like me. I also sing in the choir band, I love singing because it calm the inner peace in me.

This is the reason why I want to join Hive, I enjoy listening to music and singing, reading and I will love to share my songs, my thoughts and experiences with others, and to express myself without being looked down.

I am a mechanic, I repair cars too. It was not easy for me at first but as time went on I get so much use to it and I enjoy doing it.

I applied Guidance and Counseling in the university. I chose this course because I grew up seeing people around me struggled with their stressful life. I want to study this course to understand people and their traumatic experience. People carry problems the never voice out to anyone that's why they act differently sometimes but as they say, kindness cost us nothing.

Lastly, I often watch movies and films especially those that discuss socials and mental issues, my favorite are the K-drama. I heard about Hive from a friend @ovey10. I say let me give it a go. He always talks about Hive and he shared how Hive help him a lot to express himself better. He also informed me about the use of AI and plagiarism which the blockchain frowns at which I will stay away from.
