If you have ever heard stories of how our parents and ancestors lived their lives in the olden days, I'm sure you will be glad you are a young person in this present generation, even if you are not so young, having the opportunity to experience the new technologies and invention in this present world that has made life not only easier but fun is worthwhile.

There are so many inventions I'm grateful for, hearing stories of how people trekked long miles to school or farm which was their primary source of food and income, but today we've got the vehicles and even airplanes that help us travel worldwide in the shortest of time.

My mum once told me how it took months for letters she wrote to her mum in the village from the city of Lagos to be delivered, I wondered if the content of the letter was urgent but by the time it arrived at the recipient the deed had already been done. There was no other form of communication, as the telephones then were only owned by the high class in society but today the story has changed, which further leads me to my favorite invention of all time, it definitely has to be the provision of internet and the smart devices we use in gaining access to the world wide web, as this is where it all started.

Communication has been made easy, we can now reach out to loved ones no matter where in the world they are through phone or video calls, saving us the stress of traveling miles or waiting for our letter to be delivered, as we now have the opportunity of doing all of that in real-time. And not just communication, the Internet has also helped provide job opportunities to the present generation, with its marketing and content creation scheme, young people all over the world are making it through the Internet, no longer do we have to wait till late into our 30's or 40's to have a reasonable source of income to cater for ourselves and loved ones.

What about as a source of entertainment, I'm sure you come across the phrase 'Data is life' indeed it is, a lot of us would have been battling depression due to the terrible state of our economy if there was no internet to keep us distracted every once in a while, such watching some funny memes it reels most times helps us forget our sorrows. The internet has indeed given life to many.

I've asked one question numerous times and still waiting for the inventor to bring this thought to life, have ever imagined teleporting? I know there have been some conspiracy theories about this being in existence, but since it hasn't been seen yet, it's about time we get introduced to these teleporting gadgets. In Nigeria for instance the price if buying fuel has skyrocketed and therefore affected transportation costs which further affects the prices of food and other commodities in the market, I wouldn't need a car or flight ticket anymore if I have the ability to teleport.
