Knowing When To Stay In A Relationship And When To Leave.

Staying Longer in a relationship does not guarantee that the partners will actually settle down. One should know when exactly to move and when to stay in a relationship. Staying 5-10 years in a relationship with nothing to show for it is something I cannot advise anyone. Like what are you guys doing for 5 years?

A man once he starts relating with you does not take him upto 3 months to know if he wants a future with you or not. But most ladies you will be in a relationship for 3 years and you will still stay and hope something will come out of it. We should always be watchful when we are in a relationship as to know the right decisions to make.

Any Adult entering into a relationship goes into it for a reason so the relationship should be defined at the initial stage to avoid staying longer in a place you are meant to live. I have a friend that was in a relationship with her partner for 10 years and i was like wow. The funny part is that she still believes that something better will still come out of the relationship. It took me a lot of time to reset her brain that there was not going to be any good thing coming from that particular relationship. It was so hurting to her because of the time she has wasted building a relationship that nothing good was coming out from.

A relationship should not last more than 3 years. That is enough years to decide whether to settle down with the person you're relating with or not. A long relationship is always tiring as people begin to lose interest. And most people end up losing their spouse because they stayed long in a relationship they were not supposed to stay in and end up missing someone they would have ended up with. While relating check out for redflags and live when you're not comfortable rather than stay in a relationship you probably know that it will not lead somewhere hoping that it will work well with time. Know what you want and know when you walk away.

Signs you should look out for to know if the relationship is leading somewhere and knowing when to leave.

As a woman, when you notice that while in a relationship after some years the Man is not even talking about wanting to raise a family with you then you should start thinking of leaving the relationship. A man knows if the relationship will lead somewhere within months of relating with the woman. So if after a few years you don't hear him even talk about wanting a family with you I think it is safe to start thinking of quitting the relationship rather than waste your time.

The next thing is that I am not yet ready. Most partners male and female , use this alot when they know they are not ready to settle down with the person they are in a relationship with. And I wonder how and why you would even go into a relationship when you know that you don't have a valid reason to settle down with the person. That's why it is pertinent to define a relationship from the onset rather than entering into a relationship and staying longer than you should.
