Indiaunited week#20: How i Joined Hive

Hello Everyone Happy New Month to you all. I hope we're doing well. This is my entry to indiaunited weekly contest week #20. Welcome to my Blog.

I got excited when I saw the theme for the week and this brought back memories of how I joined hive. While i started school my Godfather @uyobong introduced me to hive so i can engage with it and end up getting rewards so it can serve as a source of income to me. So that was how and why i Joined the hive blockchain. It wasn't an easy one for me then though he was my greatest inspiration and was always there to encourage and also persuade me to stay consistent on hive yet still i keep being inconsistent.

It's been two (2) years since I started writing on hive. First I started with steemit but stopped and joined the hive blockchain. I can recall that in the beginning it was not an easy one for me but my Godfather was always there to keep persuading and encouraging me to be consistent in making posts and engaging with others even when at that time I wasn't getting rewards. I thought that hive was a place where you could just come dumb anything down there and get paid quickly so I felt discouraged and could not stay consistent but with time I came to understand how the blockchain works so I got up again, and kept pushing and striving for success.

Being on the Hive Blockchain for this number of years I have learned patience and consistency even though recently I lost staying consistent because of some issues that took my time away from here but I am fully back now. Hive has been a great source of help to me by enhancing my thinking ability and writing abilities. Asides from not getting rewards initially another major thing that made me feel i don't belong to the hive blockchain was my inability to write i felt one needed a special skill in order to know how to write but now each time i go through my post now i feel so proud of the growth that has happened and i am grateful that i gave myself a chance to learn how to write on the hive blockchain.

Indeed my Journey on Hive was not an easy one but i am excited that i am still striving to make it here on the hive blockchain and i am so grateful for the push and motivations from few of my friends on hive @newbreed and @etorobong for their constant support and encouragement that has helped me push myself up to this level. It has been an Amazing Journey so far on the Hive blockchain.
