Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Quora in the Modern Format (Eng/Ita)

Hello everyone, friends of Splinterlands!!!

One of the strongest cards of all, it cannot be bought on the market, has no monetary value, but can only be obtained by earning Merits tokens, and thus by participating in Brawls with your Guild: I’m talking, of course, about the legendary Quora Towershead, an Epic card from the Gladiator card edition, cards that usually (but not always) can only be used in Brawls.

Often, in Brawls, teams ban the use of this card in their Arenas, which shows just how devastating it is on the battlefield. Sometimes the mere presence of Quora can determine the outcome of the match.

But there is a way to use this and other Gladiator cards in normal matches, both in the Modern and Wild formats: we can choose one of the 6 monsters from the Chaos Legion Rewards edition as summoner, those with the Conscript ability, which allows you to use a Gladiator card even in Ranked battles.

And, of course, the choice almost always falls on Quora Towershead, especially in the Modern format, where we are limited to choosing from only two editions, the new Rebellion and the previous one, Chaos Legion. I’ve noticed that this strategy is becoming more and more popular, and I also use it to stay competitive and score some victories.

To use Quora Towershead in the Tank position, I had to choose the Earth element summoner named Lobb Lowland, who, in addition to Conscript, reduces the opponents' Speed by -1.
Since Quora costs 10 mana, I filled the other spots with super low-cost monsters, like the new Elanor Bravefoot (costs 0 mana), Fungus Fiend (costs 0), Halfling Refugee (costs 1), Xenith Archer (costs 2), and Spirit Hoarder (costs 3).

My opponent, instead, chose a classic Death element team, which was fine a few years ago, but now isn’t very competitive, though it would have been better if they had placed Cursed Windeku in the first position—I think they got confused.

Quora did practically all the work. With her Bloodlust ability, she reached Round 4 with 4 Magic, 5 Melee, and 13 Health, while the rest of my team just helped out. But I’m convinced that if I had deployed her alone, she would’ve won anyway.

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands !!!

Una delle carte più forti di tutte, non si può comprare sul mercato, non ha una quotazione in denaro, ma si può ottenere solamente conquistando i token Merits, e quindi partecipando alle Brawls con la propria Guild: sto parlando ,ovviamente, della mitica Quora Towershead, carta Epica dell'edizione di carte Gladiator, carte che, di solito ( ma non semnpre) possono essere usate solo nelle Brawls.

Spesso, nelle Brawls, le squadra vietano l'utilizzo proprio di questa carta, all'interno delle loro Arene, e questo vi spiega quanto è devastante sul campo di battaglia, spesso la solo presenza di Quora può determinare l'esito della partita.

Ma c'è un modo per usare questa, ed altre carte Gladiator, nelle normali sfide , sia nel formato Modern che Wild,: possiamo infatti scegliere come evocatore uno dei 6 mostri dell'edizione Rewards di Chaos Legion, che hanno l'abilità Conscript, che permettono di usare una carta Gladiator anche nelle sfide Ranked.

E ovviamente, la scelta ricade quasi sempre su Quora Towershead, soprattutto nel formato Modern, dove siamo limitati a scegliere solo tra due edizioni, la nuova Rebellion , e quella precedente , la Chaos Legion, infatti sto notando che è una strategia sempre più utilizzata, e anch'io la utilizzo per essere competitivo e portare casa qualche vittoria.

Per usare Quora Towershead, in posizione Tank, ho dovuto scegleire l'evocatore dell'elemento Earth di nome Lobb Lowland, che oltre a Conscript, infligge un -1 allo Speed egli avversari.
Siccome Quora costa ben 10 mana, ho riempito gli altri spazi con mostri super economici, come la nuova Elanor Bravefoot, (dal costo di 0 mana) Fungus Fiend, (costo 0), Halfling Refugee (costo 1), Xenith Archer (costo 2), e Spirit Hoarder (costo 3).

Il mio avversario , invece, ha scelto una classica squadra dell'elemento Death ,che andava bene qualche anno fa, ma adesso non è molto competitiva , anche se era meglio se metteva Cursed Windeku in prima posizione, credo si sia confuso.

Praticamente ha fatto tutto Quora, che con la sua abilità Bloodlust, è arrivata al 4 Round con 4 di Magia, 5 di Melee e 13 di Health, mentre il resto della mia squadra ha semplicemente dato una mano, ma sono convinto che se l'avessi schierata da sola avrebbe vinto lo stesso.
