Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Nullwrought (Eng/Ita)

Hello everyone, friends of Splinterlands!

The new Rewards cards from the Conclave Arcana edition have finally arrived, 43 brand-new cards, all ready to be earned and tested on the battlefield. Will we see stars like Hafling Refugee, Kha'zi Conjurer, Night Reaper, and Olivia of The Brook become true key players in many future teams?

The launch is already live, both as seasonal rewards and as prizes from various activities, such as advancing to a higher league, but most importantly through the Glint Store, using glint tokens, where we can choose to buy Rarity Draws or Loot Chests.

With this purchase mechanic, we can decide how much to spend and which card rarity to target, keeping in mind that the Rarity Draws of epic and legendary rarity have significantly increased in price compared to the previous edition. Epic draws now cost 15000 glint, while legendary ones go up to a whopping 70000 glint, so we must carefully plan whether it’s worth spending so many tokens on higher-rarity cards, or if it’s better to focus on collecting large numbers of common and rare cards to upgrade them to maximum levels.

Let’s begin this week’s Splinterlands Social Media Challenge by analyzing these new reward cards one by one, and seeing how they perform on the battlefield.

Nullwrought, this new legendary reward card from the Death element and the Elemental Bloodline, at level one looks similar to many other cards costing 6 mana, with 2 melee attack, 1 armor, 5 health, and 3 speed. It also has two abilities, Bloodline Tribute and Sneak.

Being legendary, it requires only a few cards to upgrade, and with 11 copies we can already bring it to level 11, where it gains a heavy 5 melee attack and a total of four abilities, including the two mentioned above plus Demoralize and Affliction.

Since it is a Soulbound card, a specific procedure must be followed to "Unlock" it. You can find all the instructions at this Link.

There are already some copies for sale, and the cheapest one is around $5.5 per BCX, but I’m sure the price will change drastically once more copies spread and more listings appear on the market.

In this high Mana Cap battle, 84, with two rulesets, Thick Skinned and Fire & Regret, I relied on the usual Lorkus, deploying a mixed team of Death and Neutral monsters, led by Helheim Demon as Tank, followed by Pallus, Umbral Elemental, Barashkukor, Gramel the Hunger, and finally Nullwrought.

My opponent, on the other hand, relied on the archon Foundations named Marlai Singariel, fielding a full Water team with Commander Slade in the first position, followed by Abyssal Elemental, Warborn Shaman, Mystic Scaleweaver, Saltwater Mage, and Shock Trooper.

It was a bit of a gamble for me to place Nullwrought in the last position. With a Mana Cap of 84, I could have used a much heavier monster, with better attack and defense stats, but I wanted to test this new reward card. After all, you have to start somewhere!

I’m not sure if the last position is its ideal spot, I think that against heavy hitters it might be better to place it in the middle of the lineup for extra protection. However, in this battle it performed excellently, reaching the final round without problems and delivering decisive attacks, thanks to its Sneak ability.

I believe Nullwrought performs best in low to mid Mana Cap battles, where its cost-to-benefit ratio for 6 mana makes it shine as a solid and well-structured card. It’s definitely not a superstar or a game-changer, but it’s a trustworthy card for a reliable performance, also helped by its fairly high Speed value.

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands !

Sono finalmente arrivate le nuove carte Rewards dell'edizione Conclave Arcana, 43 carte nuove di zecca, tutte da conquistare e provare sul campo: ci saranno fenomeni come Hafling Refugee, Kha'zi Conjurer, Night Reaper, e Olivia of The Brook, che diventeranno dei veri e propri giocatori titolari di molte squadre future ?

Ormai il lancio è già partito, sia come rewards stagionali e come premio delle varie attività, come passare ad una lega superiore, ma soprattutto l'acquisto nella Glint Store attraverso i token glint, con cui possiamo scegliere se comprare le Rarity Draws oppure le Loot Chests.

Con questa meccanica di acquisto, possiamo decidere noi quanto spendere e quale rarità di carta raccogliere, tenendo presente che le Rarity Draws di rarità epica e leggendaria, sono molto aumentate di prezzo rispetto alla scorsa edizione: le draws epiche sono infatti passate a 15000 glint, e quelle leggendarie addirittura a 70000 glint, quindi bisogna studiare con attenzione le proprie mosse se conviene spendere così tanti token per carte di rarità maggiore, oppure è meglio puntare su grossi numeri di carte comuni e rare per potenziarle ai massimi livelli.

Iniziamo, con lo Splinterlands Social Media Challenge di questa settimana, ad analizzare uno ad uno queste nuove carte rewards, e vedere quanto valgono sul campo.

Nullwrought: questa nuova carta reward , leggendaria dell'elemento Death e della Bloodline Elemental, al primo livello si presenta come tante altre carte che costano 6 mana, con 2 di attacco melee, 1 di armor, 5 di Health e 3 di Speed, detiene anche due abilità, la Bloodline Tribute e Sneak.

Richiede poche carte per i potenziamenti, essendo leggendaria, e con 11 carte la possiamo già portare al livello 11, dove passa ad un attacco molto pesante di 5 di melee, e arriva a 4 abilità, di cui fanno parte, oltre alle 2 già citate, anche Demoralize e Affliction.

Essendo una carta che viene data Soulbound, bisogna seguire una determinata procedura per poterla "Unlock", potete trovare tutte le istruzioni a questo Link.

Comunque ci sono già alcune carte in vendita, e la più economia è sui 5,5 $ per BCX, ma sono sicuro che il prezzo cambierà drasticamente quando inizieranno a diffondersi più copie e ci saranno più richieste di vendita sul mercato.

In questa sfida dall'altissimo Mana Cap, 84, e con due ruleset, Thick Skinned e Fire & Regret, mi sono affidato al solito Lorkus, schierando una squadra mista tra mostri Death e Neutral, capeggiati da Helheim Demon in posizione Tank, seguito da Pallus, Umbral Elemental, Barashkukor, Gramel the Hunger, e per finire, Nullwrought.

Il mio avversario, invece, si è affidato all'archon Foundations di nome Marlai Singariel, mettendo in campo una squadra tutta dell'elemento Water, con Commander Slade in prima posizione, seguito da Abyssal Elemental, Warborn Shaman, Mystic Scaleweaver, Saltwater Mage e Shock Trooper.

È stato un azzardo, per me, mettere Nullwrought in ultima posizione, con un mana cap di 84 avrei potuto usare un mostro molto più pesante, con stats difensive e di attacco maggiori, ma ho deciso di provare questa nuova carta reward, infondo, bisognerà pure iniziare da qualche parte!

Non so se l'ultimo posto sia la sua posizione ideale, penso che contro degli Heavyweights sarebbe meglio metterlo a metà squadra per proteggerlo un po' di più, anche se in questa sfida si è comportato egregiamente, arrivando senza problemi all'ultimo round e sferrando degli attacchi decisivi, anche grazie alla sua abilità Sneak.

Credo, però, che Nullwrought dia il meglio di sè in sfide con basso-medio Mana Cap, dove il suo rapporto costo/benefici ,rispetto ai 6 mana da usare per schierarlo, lo faccia brillare come una carta molto solida e ben strutturata, di sicuro non è un fenomeno o un game-changer, però su questa carta ci si può fidare per una prestazione dignitosa, anche grazie al suo valore di Speed abbastanza alto.
