Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: My Pre-Sale Journey (ENG/ITA)

Today I woke up and immediately saw some good news that could bring us great advantages in the future, if this trend remains steady: the price of Hive has gone up by about 10%, from $0.25 to $0.27. Let's hope this is just the beginning and not just a one-time spike, because the two ecosystems Splinterlands and Hive are deeply interconnected. An increase in Hive’s price—or the crypto market in general—can only bring good things to Splinterlands, especially considering the prices of SPS and DEC, which have both performed very well in recent months, likely in anticipation of the upcoming Pre-sale for the new card edition, Conclave Arcana.

At the time I'm writing this post, there are 8 days left until the end of the Pre-sale. So there’s still time for players who haven't yet joined this phase to decide whether—and how much—they want to participate and take advantage of the benefits that won’t be available during the regular sale.

As of today, one DEC is worth $0.0009635 (according to CoinMarketCap), so it’s still better to use DEC over Credits. However, it does take a bit more effort to convert and transfer those tokens onto the platform—unless you already have a well-stocked supply in your account.

So far, I’ve reached 404,000 Presale Points, which guarantees me 10 BCX of Arcane Skinwalker and 1 BCX of Gramel The Hunger. This means I can level Arcane up to level 2, and I’m just 4 cards short of level 3. As for Gramel The Hunger, I have it at level 1, and I’d need 3 more copies to reach level 2.

I’ve talked about Gramel in previous posts; to me, it seems like a very powerful monster, being the only one (for now) with 3 different attack types. He can even use his melee attack from the second position onward thanks to his Charge ability. I believe his optimal placement is definitely not as a Tank, but rather somewhere in the middle of the team—maybe third or fourth position—since his defensive stats are a bit low, especially considering the 11 mana cost.

Arcane Skinwalker is a good rare card—not exactly exceptional or unique, maybe a bit underwhelming for its 8 mana cost—but its new ability Shapeshift can only be properly evaluated once we start playing with Bloodlines in the game.

With my current purchase total, I’ve also secured the 278th spot on the Pre-sale Leaderboard, and 404 Raffle tickets to enter the lottery where prizes include special editions like Black Foil, Black Foil Arcane, and Gold Foil Arcane versions of the two Promo cards.

It’s always super hard to win these Raffles, but participating never hurts—who knows, maybe Lady Luck will decide to smile on us for once!

With my participation in this Pre-sale, I’ve also earned 4 Wagons out of the 8 maximum available for the upcoming Conflicts—30-day events where, depending on which cards or packs you’ve placed in your wagons, you have higher and higher chances of earning the airdropped monsters for that specific Conflict.

By joining the Conflicts of the previous edition, Rebellion, I managed to win some important cards like Eternal Tofu, Lorkus, and Risqruel Drath. So in this new edition, I definitely want a shot at grabbing more rewards.

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands !!!

Oggi mi sono svegliato ed ho visto subito una bella notizia che potrebbe portarci dei grossi vantaggi in futuro, se questo Trend rimane costante: la quotazione di Hive ha fatto circa un +10%, salendo da 0,25 a 0,27$, e speriamo che sia solo l'inizio, e non sia solo un caso isolato, perchè i due ecosistemi Splinterlands e Hive sono profondamente interconnessi, e un aumento del prezzo di Hive, ma anche del mercato crypto in generale, non può altro che portare buone cose in Splinterlands, calcolando anche le quotazione di SPS e DEC, che hanno fatto delle ottime performance in questi mesi, probabilmente proprio in previsione della Pre-sale delle nuova edizione di carte, Conclave Arcana.

Dal momento in cui sto scrivendo questo post, mancano 8 giorni alla fine della Pre-sale, quindi c'è ancora tempo, per i giocatori che non sono entrati in questa fase, di valutare se e con quanti fondi partecipare per prendersi i vantaggi che ora ci sono, ma nella vendita normale non ci saranno.

Ad oggi un DEC vale 0.0009635 $ (prezzo di Coinmarketcap), quindi conviene ancora usare i DEC rispetto ai Credits, però bisogna fare sempre un po' più di fatica per fare i cambi e portare questi token nella piattaforma, almeno che non si abbia già una scorta ben fornita presente sul proprio account.

Io, finora, sono arrivato a 404.000 Presale Points, che mi assicurano di ricevere 10 BCX di Arcane Skinwalker, e 1 BCX di Gramel The Hunger, , quindi ho la possibilità di portare Arcane al livello 2, con 4 carte mancanti per arrivare al livello 3, e Gramel The Hunger al livello 1, me ne servirebbero 3 per arrivare al livello 2.

Di Gramel ne ho già parlato in post precedenti, a me sembra un mostro molto forte, essendo l'unico, per adesso, ad avere 3 attacchi di tipi diversi, e potendo sfruttare il suo attacco melee anche dalla seconda posizione in poi, avendo l'abilità Charge: credo, infatti, che la sua posizione ottimale non sia certo quella Tank, ma sia più a suo agio in mezzo alla squadra, forse in terza o quarta posizione, visto che le sue stats difensive sono un po' basse, soprattutto in relazione al costo di 11 mana.

Arcane Skinwalker è una buona carta rara, sicuramente niente di eccezionale o mai visto, forse un po' sottotono per gli 8 mana di costo, però la sua nuova abilità Shapeshift potrà essere valutata solo quando incominceremo a giocare con le Bloodlines in campo.

Con la mia quota di acquisto finora raggiunta, ho ottenuto anche la posizione 278 della Leaderboard di questa Presale, e 404 Raffle tickets per la partecipazione alla lotteria dove i premi in palio sono edizioni speciali Black Foil, Black Foil Arcane e Gold Foil Arcane delle due carte di Promo.

È sempre difficilissimo vincere in queste Raffle, però partecipare non guasta mai, chi sa che la Dea Bendata ci voglia regalare una soddisfazione ogni tanto !

Con la mia partecipazione a questa Presale, ho ottenuto anche 4 Wagons degli 8 massimi disponibili per le prossime Conflicts, eventi di 30 giorni ciascuno in cui, a seconda di quali carte o pacchetti abbiamo schierato nelle nostre wagons, abbiamo probabilità sempre più alte di portarsi a casa i mostri airdrop di quella specifica Conflict.
