Photo session with my new model, Enny.
This photo session was a bit different from my usual ones because this time, I used three different outfits in the same location and with the same model. My goal was to challenge myself to create three distinct vibes for each outfit. This challenge was truly demanding, as I had to think through each session to ensure the final photos looked unique.
Oh, I haven't introduced the model for this session yet. Her name is Enny, and this was actually our first meeting—I hadn't met her at all before the shoot. I got to know Enny through a friend of mine, who’s also a photographer. He introduced me to her because he thought she’d be a perfect fit as a model, so I agreed to invite her for the session.
In this first photo session, I considered it an introduction session because I wasn’t familiar with Enny’s personality yet. However, I was pleasantly surprised when she started posing. I was amazed by how comfortable she seemed in front of the camera, despite it being our first meeting. I asked her if she had ever done a photoshoot with another photographer, and she told me this was her first time being photographed. She’s not even a model or an MUA, which made me even more impressed and fond of her.
To be honest, I was a bit unsure about the vibe I wanted to create for this first session. What I envisioned at the time was just a girl relaxing on her bed and enjoying the moment. In hindsight, I wonder why I didn’t use pajamas to make it look like a girl who had just woken up and was enjoying the morning sunlight streaming through her bedroom window. But, well, the session already happened. This was also a last-minute shoot, so I didn’t think about having the model wear pajamas. And, of course, since it was spontaneous, I didn’t have time to buy the right outfit either.
But I think the result still turned out as I imagined, though it would have been even better if Enny had worn pajamas. That way, I could have truly captured the vibe and created a storytelling element with her outfit changes in each session. As I'm writing this, I’ve just started to imagine the story flow for each outfit, beginning with pajamas. Maybe I’ll try this in the next session, as I suddenly got inspired by a videographer who did a music video starting with pajamas.
I’ll be splitting this post into three parts because, as I mentioned earlier, I did this photoshoot with three different outfits. Of course, the final session is the best one, featuring my shoot with Enny. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to it.
Warm regards from me.
All the photos you show are interesting, but the first and last photos look like a model who is professional in posing. Cool, good job sis👍
