Don't be static
Life they say is a process, so it won't be such a bad idea if as humans understand that it is unhealthy for us to not want to adjust when necessary and at a specific time. Nobody is talking about how fast one should adjust, because we all can not adjust at the same pace, I mean we have the late bloomers and early bloomers, so it is not fair that adjustment or revolving is measured the same way for everyone.
While we have those who adjust or change early enough, we also have those who take longer in adjusting or revolving, but what is important to all human beings is that they understand that life is a process, life revolves, so as humans, you are expected to adjust or revolve. I know that the Bible says "Be ye not conform to the world", now that's not my point of view, as I expect everyone to know where they stand and whom they stand for.

My emphasis is on adjusting or revolving as the world is revolving or over the global changes happening. The century has changed, and so as so many things around us, many no longer cook, wash, and do other domestic chores the old-fashioned way, we no longer have folk tales or midnight tales because most stories can be gotten just with the search of the stories on Google, many are learning life skills, many can now get jobs, are earning good just at the comfort of their homes and with their smartphones.
We no longer write letters or mail that will take months or years before they get to the recipient, we have alternatives for women who can carry their pregnancy to terms and couples who have erectile dysfunction. There is so much happening around us that is letting us understand that life is a process, life is revolving. The more reason as humans we should not live in our heads.
Adjust if there is a necessity, revolve as that is what it takes to live in the now, Google if you need to, ask questions when necessary, make findings, watch and listen, don't be static, don't feel what you know or think is all there is to life. Equip yourself with the knowledge you need for survival, not just for yourself but for those around you and perhaps children if you intend to have them.
Don't live in your head only, learn from others, and find out their experiences and their perspectives about life, because of experience birth perspective. Learn, relearn, and unlearn, you don't have to be in every discipline to know everything there is to life. A little to the right, a little to the left, the majority in the middle help. Get knowledge from where you need to because you don't know the one you would be using for first aid, or where and when.
Being a survivor isn't just about your experience, it is about how much knowledge you have to keep you moving or standing strong in life when life gives you a lemon, and how long you can stand the test of time. Do not be static, and don't live just in your head, there is no harm in knowing little about everything, just in case there is an emergency and after giving the first aid treatment, you can then seek professional help.
