Is tipping customary in the UK? In the US, 20% is usually seen as the minimum for most people going to a restaurant, but honestly, I don't think it makes the service much better. I live in Viet Nam now, and no one tips, the service is hit or miss, but at least you aren't expected to pay extra for the privilege.
