Pixel posting | Return in Pixels: My Journey Through Silence and Color, 1/7
Welcome back to all the wonderful people gathered under this post!
After what feels like an eternity of silence, I’m officially returning to blogging and sharing what I hope will be valuable, entertaining, or at least mildly interesting content for all of you. My plan is to stick to the same creative vision as before—curating series centered around pixel art animations and graphics, because that’s where my passion truly lies.
Every post will be crafted carefully, paired with good music (likely synthwave or chill lo-fi, as usual), and presented on a blog that prioritizes clean readability and a touch of personality.
But before we dive into new creations, let’s rewind and address the elephant in the room: What even happened during this long absence?
(P.S. Future posts will follow a storytelling format—one overarching narrative split into digestible parts, so you can follow along without feeling overwhelmed. Consider this a slow-burn drama, but with more pixels and fewer villains.)
Roughly six months ago, disaster struck in the form of my trusty computer giving up the ghost. For most people, a dead PC might mean minor inconvenience, but for someone whose creative outlet hinges on digital art and blogging, it felt like losing a limb. Here’s the ironic twist: I’d pre-scheduled posts two weeks ahead, so for a while, you all kept receiving content as if nothing was wrong. It was like a ghost ship sailing smoothly—until the automation ran out.
During the downtime, I refused to stay idle. I funneled energy into Instagram (now at 2,000 followers—thank you!), YouTube shorts, and TikTok, all made possible by the holy grail of backup devices: my iPad and a battered old drawing tablet. Let’s take a moment to praise modern technology for ensuring artists aren’t left helpless when hardware fails.
The last five months weren’t exactly a rollercoaster of drama, but they weren’t dull either. Aside from the financial gut-punch of replacing my setup, life rolled on steadily. The timing overlapped with holidays and my birthday, which—despite the tech woes—were filled with warmth. Family and friends showered me with kindness, thoughtful gifts, and handwritten notes that I still keep on my desk. It’s surreal reflecting on those memories now, halfway through April 2025, but I wanted to share this context because you deserve more than just art updates—you’re part of this journey.
Anyways, please take a look at one of the pieces I managed to finish due to hiatus, and take a second to chill while watching this GIF :)
Hope you're gonna like it!

And speaking of art: Working exclusively on an iPad taught me so much. Pixel art, which I’d dabbled in before, became a full-blown obsession. There’s something magical about its constraints—how a handful of colored squares can evoke emotions or nostalgia. I’ve leveled up not just in technical skill (shading! dithering! animation loops!), but in understanding how to channel ideas into this medium.
But the biggest revelation? Strangers on the internet can be lovely. For years, I’d assumed online spaces were toxic by default, but the pixel art community—especially on Instagram—proved me wrong. Over 32,000 people interacted with my profile in three months, and the comments? Overwhelmingly supportive. People shared how my animations helped them unwind after work, or how a silly chibi character made their day brighter. It’s humbling to realize that something I created in my bedroom could resonate with someone oceans away.
Once again thank you for being so patient with me, for the people that have read this blog consistently... I always promise you one thing and do something else, I'm sorry.
I'll see you from now on every friday with week break every 2 fridays!
Also the posting time is gonna be always 17:00 GMT+2
