Pixel Posting | Kitty in trouble! #9
Hello, Hive Community!
A new week means another post in the Pixel Posting series, where I present one of my recent works and whisper a bit in your ear so that, with each post, you get a better sense of who I am as a person.
In the previous post, I mentioned that I had been diagnosed with ADHD and was prescribed medication, which has significantly helped me function better day-to-day—things like sticking to resolutions, meeting deadlines, or simply staying more focused. I’m hopeful that, over time, I’ll learn to function more efficiently on my own and won’t need the medication anymore.
Back to more recent matters—unfortunately, I’ve been having some issues with my little fluffy ball of fur, whom I’ve mentioned here before: Faye.
My kitty’s been dealing with some minor health problems. First, she had some immune system issues, and now it’s time for her teeth.
Overall, she’s doing well—eating, playing, and full of enthusiasm—but I can see that she still has inflammation in her gums, and one of her teeth needs to go. According to the vet, cats are very prone to this kind of inflammation and autoimmune reaction, since any plaque on their teeth is seen by the body as a foreign substance.
There’s no point in worrying—what matters is taking care of it so she doesn’t have to suffer. We already have an appointment scheduled for blood tests, a heart ultrasound, and within a week, we’ll take care of her teeth. So we’re almost there.
This is the first time in my life I’ve had such responsibility—taking care of a pet. I know it’s not the same as having a child, but I imagine there are a few things in common. The most important one being: whether it’s a child or a pet, you need to take proper care of them. They should have food, a place to sleep, and all the love you can give them!
I probably don’t need to mention that a big part of the illustrations I create feature cats—and those cats are always either “Vi” or “Faye.”
We have two cats, kind of as a healthy division, just in case life ever divides us. Vi belongs to my girlfriend, and Faye is mine.
Take a look at the illustration below and let me know what you think!
Static version down below!
Today, I’ve got just a static version for you—no GIF this time—but don’t worry, my dears: next week’s post will feature a GIF, just as planned.
This time, I tried to illustrate a funny situation where a kitty surprises a man smoking a cigarette on the balcony. The only question is—who’s really upside down here?
Let me know if you ever had any problems with your pet, I would love to hear how you handled it yourself :)
Take care of your pets, people. Give them lots of love and treats.
(That last part was written by Faye, running across the keyboard.)

Hi there, thanks for reminding me such simple thing. Sometimes I have difficulties in remembering this stuff! I just uploaded the updated version, once again thank you :) <3 In future posts i'll try to include more info such as size of canvas and maybe the process of making, trying to do my best!
