Cameron conoció a Teagan en el estudio de RisingStar, ella era una estrella en ascenso y el un productor de artistas emergentes en busca de una cantante que generara un nuevo movimiento, de alguna manera todo parecía una historia de amor, en donde todo tenía una razón, un nexo y una oportunidad para dos personas con ansias de alcanzar el éxito.
Teagan miraba en Cameron su otra mitad, alguien que estaba cómodo con su nueva visibilidad y quien soñaba en la misma dirección, era fácil conversar con él, se sentía segura y el parecía completamente enamorado de “su princesa”.
Entre conversaciones donde ambos desnudaban su alma, era sencillo creer que ni la historia más fantástica de amor era comparable con tal unión, pero algo comenzó a cambiar.
Cameron empezó a tener momentos en donde Teagan no lo reconocía, no quería que saliera, se vistiera de cierta forma y cuando ella no se mostraba de acuerdo, él apelaba a “una falta de compromiso o amor por su parte”.
Un día Teagan decidió ir a casa de su madrina, una mujer tan anciana como sabía, que creía en la magia espiritual de cada ser en el planeta la llamaban “La Gran Leilani”, era la chamana del pueblo en donde crecieron y al mirarla comenzó a llorar.
Leilani le comentó que su aura estaba contaminada y por eso todo salía mal en su vida, aunque todo esto eran señales del destino, Teagan no creía en esa declaración, lo tenía todo su trabajo (que estaba algo tenso), su novio (aunque Cameron no estaba como siempre) y sus amigos (que eran cada vez más pocos ya que no aceptaban su relación).
Leilani viendo como su ahijada no comprendía la gravedad de lo que veía en su aura, parecía envuelta o reprimida por una oscuridad que no sabía identificar, lo que si es que mientras más tiempo pasaba todo era colocado bajo sombras y su querida Teagan podría hasta perder su talento.
Una tarde Leiani invitó a Teagan a una sección y esta se negó, pero algo en su madrina le recordó todo lo que siempre hizo por ella y al final accedió.
Teagan se reunió con su madrina en un salón donde el sonido de una gota cayendo al vació y el olor a incienso inundaba el espacio.
Leilani comenzó a cantar y el mundo parecía girar alrededor de Teagan, luego todo se detuvo y se encontró en una sala de interrogatorio, esposada a una mesa, un espejo frente a ella revelaba su ropa rasgada y un maquillaje corrido.
Una voz parecía acecharla y ella aturdida gritó pidiendo ayuda, esa voz fue disminuyendo hasta convertirse en la de su madrina.
Leilani como si de un policía se tratara comenzó a hacerle preguntas a Teagan y esta respondía en contra de su voluntad, se sentía como asfixiada pero aún tenía fuerza para contestar.
Entonces una ráfaga de viento las azotó y ella se vio trasladada a un pasillo con muchas puertas, cada que se abría una los recuerdos con Camerón se mostraban como escena de película.
Sin embargo, en cada una escuchaba los pensamientos de quien pensó era el amor de su vida, manipulaciones, menosprecios y hasta envidia eran parte de sus pensamientos.
Teagan no creía lo que escuchaba y la comprensión comenzaba a llegar a bloques, cada que comprendía el maltrato emocional, se iba mejorando su situación primero, se soltaron las cadenas, luego mejoró su vestimenta y maquillaje, y por último, volvió a la sala con su madrina que la abrazaba.
Leilani le explicó a Teagan lo que su relación con Cameron causaba a su aura y esperaba haberla rescatado de un destino cruel, pues las heridas no tienen que ser físicas para causar daño, la manipulación y el falso montaje de un amor puede ser doloroso y más difícil de curar.
Ese día Teagan inició nuevamente, decidió terminar su relación con Cameron y se refugió en la casa de Leilani para sanar y aprender lo que verdaderamente es amar.

One day, Teagan decided to visit her godmother, an elderly woman who believed in the spiritual magic of every being on the planet. They called her “The Great Leilani,” and she was the shaman of the village where they grew up. When Teagan saw her, she began to cry.
Leilani told her that her aura was contaminated and that was why everything was going wrong in her life. Although all this was a sign of destiny, Teagan did not believe in that statement. She had everything: her job (which was a bit stressful), her boyfriend (although Cameron was not as he usually was), and her friends (who were becoming fewer and fewer as they did not accept her relationship).
Leilani, seeing that her goddaughter did not understand the seriousness of what she saw in her aura, seemed enveloped or repressed by a darkness she could not identify. Teagan met her godmother in a room where the sound of a drop falling into the void and the smell of incense filled the space.
Leilani began to sing, and the world seemed to spin around Teagan. Then everything stopped, and she found herself in an interrogation room, handcuffed to a table. A mirror in front of her revealed her torn clothes and smudged makeup.
A voice seemed to stalk her, and she screamed for help in a daze. That voice gradually faded until it became her godmother's.
Leilani, as if she were a police officer, began to ask Teagan questions, and Teagan answered against her will. She felt suffocated but still had the strength to answer.
Then a gust of wind hit them, and she found herself transported to a hallway with many doors. Each time one opened, memories with Cameron were shown like scenes from a movie.
However, in each one, she heard the thoughts of the man she thought was the love of her life. Manipulation, contempt, and even envy were part of his thoughts.
Teagan couldn't believe what she was hearing, and understanding began to come in blocks. Each time she understood the emotional abuse, her situation improved. First, the chains were released, then her clothes and makeup improved, and finally, she returned to the room with her godmother, who hugged her.
Leilani explained to Teagan what her relationship with Cameron was doing to her aura and hoped she had rescued her from a cruel fate, because wounds don't have to be physical to cause harm; manipulation and the false pretense of love can be painful and more difficult to heal.
That day, Teagan started over, decided to end her relationship with Cameron, and took refuge in Leilani's house to heal and learn what it truly means to love.

La historia es dura, la manipulación emocional es tóxica. Teagan se da cuenta tarde, pero al final se libera gracias a su madrina.
