Saludos querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic, estamos en la semana # 162, gracias al tema "Be Okay" sugerida por nuestra artista destacada @maryjacy, nos invita a vincular el bienestar y la alegría de vivir. Mi usuario @geronimamunoz.

La semana pasada no pude participar por cuestiones laborales, me dio mucha tristeza, sin embargo, me animé en este presente para traerles una letra que es de mi propia autoría y la adapté con el género Jota en menor que pertenece al folclor del Estado Nueva Esparta, Venezuela.

La Jota es un género de la Isla de Margarita y en todo el oriente venezolano, aunque puede notarse una variante entre la Jota en menor y la Jota en tonalidad mayor, varían de acuerdo a la melodía, es una estrofa de cuatro versos, donde se repiten los dos primeros y luego culmina el canto repitiendo el tercero y cuarto verso (cada verso es una línea), asímismo, es un canto melodioso. Este género es muy hermoso y particularmente me encanta, es genial poder entonar esta melodía, es en tonalidad menor e invita a una sentir paz y tranquilidad vinculándola con la temática de esta semana, por lo que surgió la letra de manera espontánea y decidí hacerla en honor a nuestra comunidad de Hive que día a día crece más y más, vinculándonos unos a otros, surgen lazos de amistad y mucha gente apoyándose entre sí, eso es importante para seguir creciendo en las distintas comunidades.

Por primera vez escuché la escuché a uno de los cultores más importantes del Estado Nueva Espata, como es el Maestro José "Chelías" Villarroel, Patrimonio Cultural y llamado el Decano del Galerón Margariteño. En el año 1996 y posteriormente en el 2010, pude compartir con el Maestro y descubrir que fue gran amigo de mi padre Pedro Muñoz Farías, eso me llenó de mucha emoción, al mismo tiempo, me impulsa a compartir con ustedes, esta letra que hice especialmente para esta semana. Greetings dear Hive Open Mic community, we are in week # 162, thanks to the theme "Be Okay" suggested by our featured artist @maryjacy, invites us to link the welfare and joy of living. My user @geronimamunoz.

Last week I could not participate due to work issues, it gave me a lot of sadness, however, I was encouraged in this present to bring you a letter that is of my own authorship and I adapted it with the genre Jota in minor that belongs to the folklore of the State of Nueva Esparta, Venezuela.

The Jota is a genre of Margarita Island and throughout eastern Venezuela, although you can notice a variant between the Jota in minor and the Jota in major key, vary according to the melody, is a stanza of four verses, where the first two are repeated and then culminates the song by repeating the third and fourth verse (each verse is a line), likewise, it is a melodious song. Maestro Chelías Villarroel and other artists express the beauty of this musical genre.Source

This genre is very beautiful and I particularly love it, it is great to sing this melody, it is in a minor key and invites you to feel peace and tranquility linking it with the theme of this week, so the lyrics came spontaneously and I decided to do it in honor of our Hive community that every day grows more and more, linking us to each other, ties of friendship arise and many people supporting each other, that is important to continue growing in different communities.

For the first time I listened to one of the most important cultors of Nueva Espata State, Master José "Chelías" Villarroel, Cultural Patrimony and called the Dean of the Galerón Margariteño.
