Hivers a New Member Has Been Onboarded: My Hive Introduction post

HELLO HIVERS !

Good of the time to all the amazing members of this blockchain community. I am delighted to be amongst the users of this fantastic platform. The Hive blockchain community looks great, and I feel excited to share about myself in this introduction post. My full name is George Uduak Abasiumoh, and I am from Akwa Ibom State in the South-South of Nigeria, often referred to as the most peaceful state in Nigeria. I was born in Rivers State, also in Nigeria. I studied Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering.

From a young age, my passions and interests have evolved from one field to another. In kindergarten and high school, I enjoyed drawing and designing letters and this passion led me to becoming the Writers Club coordinator in high school, where I write, draw and edit articles with other members of the club and post it on our boards so that the whole school can read and be inspired.

Who Introduced Me Hive Blockchain and How

As I grew up, I found writing to be a fulfilling way to express myself more than oral communication. I enjoy communities where I can share thoughts and learn from others. I was thrilled when my friend @vickvan introduced me to the Hive platform and guided me on navigating it. Thank you,for your support. Currently, I am a corps member serving my country in Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria. At the course of my service, I ran for the position of Provost (PRO) at my place of primary assignment and won again, and I have come to realize that our first victory builds our confidence and capability to win more, and with hard work, dedication and believing in oneself anyone can achieve their dreams.

My Journey as a Purposeful Creation

Post-university, I became more interested in Forex, Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. Over time, my focus shifted more towards cryptocurrency/Web3, which I thoroughly enjoy. Presently, I am a crypto trader and a crypto researcher. I am passionate about learning new things and sharing my experiences in the crypto space with the Hive community. The journey in Web3 has had its challenges, but it’s been worthwhile. Meanwhile, going into web3 does not mean that I have abandoned my main Career which is chemical and petrochemical engineering as that is one of my long term goals in life, I am a person who believes that while we are chasing our long term goal we ought to have something doing that will cater for our present needs while we to look forward to achieving our long term goal. Most of the time these short term goals play a big role and are one of those things that will make you achieve your long term goal.

What Hive Blockchain Would Expect From Me

My ambition is to be a person of value, to achieve success, and to find fulfilment in life knowing that all these won't be possible if i don't have people of like mindedness and with the various communities on hive blockchain and my participation in writing, reading and upvoting articles and comments, i will have those things which are my dreams achieved. There is more to life than understanding your purpose and striking a deal with the necessary tools that will make those purposes become a reality. IN here on hive blockchain, i see those additives which i long for from the caliber of people in here and from the articles published to a be a gate way to what i want to achieve and be in life. Other than benefiting from what is happening in here, i will contribute to the growth of this blockchain from the little way i can and through this, i journey of living a purposeful life will have a good start.
