Soyanut Drink...

It's a beautiful Sunday, another opportunity to participate in the Hive Learners Creative Sunday initiative. As usual, the community is all about sharing creative stuff on Sunday, and I have decided to share something new.

I would love to call this drink Soyanut because it's the combination of soya milk and tigernut drink. I doubt if there is a name for it, and it's my first time trying this out, but I have always enjoyed them separately.

With soya milk's creamy taste and the delicious creamy taste of tigernut drink, I felt it would be nice to combine them in one drink, and the outcome was fantastic. It turned out that I haven't tasted something this creamy in a while and because every ingredient used is natural, I can confidently recommend this drink for anyone as long as you aren't allergic to any of the ingredients.

Speaking of nutrition, the drink is top class with enhanced protein. It's rich in fiber, antioxidants, and a good boost for the immune system, so it's a perfect drink for anyone to try out.

Ingredients.

The ingredients for this drink are quite simple, and these are things we can easily find around us:

  • Tigernut
  • Date
  • Ginger
  • Coconut
  • Soya beans powder

Preparation.

Preparing this drink doesn't require any special skill or ability. Just from reading this post to the end, I believe that anyone can prepare this drink if they have the necessary ingredients.

I started by processing my ingredients:

  • The soya beans had been roasted and blended, so I cooked it in water for about 15 minutes.
  • I rinsed the tigernut and date before soaking them in clean warm water.
  • I opened the coconut and took off the shell.
I also peeled the back of the ginger and rinsed it with the coconut.

Having everything ready will make the process a lot easier; you won't need to be going back and forth while preparing the drink.

  • I got my sieve and placed it on a bowl to drain the soya milk from the boiled soya beans powder.
  • After draining the soya milk, I turned it into a blender.

  • I also added the tigernut, date, coconut, and ginger.

  • I blended the combination for over five minutes with the intention of squeezing out every bit of juice from the ingredients.

  • Immediately after blending, I drained the juice with the sieve into a bowl.
  • I reblended the remains of the ingredients with a cup of water to ensure I get the best of the ingredients. I sieved again, and my drink is ready.

The drink is perfect when served hot or cold.

But I took mine warm because I had the intention of having it with bread and egg.

I enjoyed every sip with my wife, and we will automatically include the combination in our homemade drink.

I hope you enjoyed reading through; let me know your thoughts about the drink. Cheers to a beautiful Sunday!
