Nuclear Weapon Crossed The Line.

It's a fact that we are enjoying the goodness of science & technology at every corner of the world today, and it's beautiful having to do so many things with the ease different inventions & discoveries have brought to the human race.

I once shared a testimony of how my family spent a lot of money and even went through stress just to make international calls in the early 2000s. We had the privilege to own a burner phone in 2006 that made things easier, but we still had to pay high tariffs. Here we are today in 2025, not just making calls; we can even see our callers live while on calls, and I foresee something more sophisticated, like hologram calls, becoming accessible by almost everybody.

Beyond communication, the medical field is doing great with the help of science, and there are successes in that field that would make you wonder how it is possible, but it is. Several operations and transplants have saved lives, so we can't talk down about science or even think we can live without all these things in this age and time.

Sometimes, I wonder how our forefathers coped without the advanced technologies we are using today. They actually started this whole thing called science, but what they had back then is nothing compared to technology today. Living over 100 was a rampant thing back then, which was a sign of healthiness, and yet they survived without hospitals for surgeries, transplants, or planes, traveling on foot or with animals.

These things have made me ponder over the fact that the human race trades something for every invention we are enjoying today. Some of these things are minor, while there are really terrible ones that I believe science crossed a boundary inventing.

Among the great works of science, the invention of nuclear weapons is one thing I thought shouldn't have happened because what's the point of inventing something that only brings pain and chaos to people?

I still convince myself that the world didn't know what the impact of nuclear weapons would be until Hiroshima happened, where the effect of the casualties is still felt today. After Hiroshima, I expected the end of nuclear weapons, but it only grew stronger and deadlier.

Many countries would rather invest in nuclear weapons than provide free education or more medical facilities in the country. They won't tell us these things because it's top secret that must be kept away from the enemies and disclosing these figures can cause unrest even within the country. If you’d be asking if there are no hungry people in the country. It baffles me why time, money, and effort that could be spent on improving other beneficial technologies is spent on something that would bring destruction in the end.

Today, we hear threats of war from different parts of the world, while there are those who are at war already. Every world leader is eager to flaunt their weapons, forgetting that the deadly effect on the human race.

We shouldn't have created those demons, and sadly, nothing can be done about it anymore. Efforts to limit these weapons exist, like the nuclear weapons treaty signed by countries, while there are those who didn't.

It's impossible for us not to have disagreements; there will be conflicts, but the effects of these wars would be minimal. I hope we can focus on using science for peace and progress, not destruction any longer.

Nuclear weapons have indeed brought more harm to humanity, and sadly these world leaders are not stopping anytime soon.

They are not stopping and if you listen to news, there are threats flying here and there between those world leaders just because they have enough nuclear weapons to strike if war breaks out today.

We are really enjoying technology today unlike our fathers

We are truly enjoying technology and there is no doubt but there are things science shouldn't have researched or even discovered.
