My Long-Life Love Affair With Music.

Music is life for me and it is powerful enough to influence a lot of things for me. My mood for instance is one of the things music is capable of influencing anytime or any day because I always have this awesome connection to any song I am listening to and this is one reason why I don't listen to songs anyhow. I am always careful with my song selection to prevent it from triggering things I really don't want at that particular time.

For many years now, I have listened to music every day because it has become a therapy and a routine that helps my mental health a lot. Whenever I leave my home in the morning, I always have my earphones plugged in and listen to some of my favourite songs just because they help my day start pretty well. I get inspired by powerful lyrics and also stabilize my mood with these songs.

I have told a few people that Music is a blessing to the human race and a big shout-out to the first musician in the world because everything we are enjoying today started thousands of years ago. Today, a lot of things have changed with music and we can all point out one or two things musicians do differently today.

The impact of technology on music is awesome because I remember the first time I was in a studio with my choirmaster. There were instrumentalists there and they played instruments while he was singing unlike today when producers can cook up beats and just look for an artist to vibe on the music.

Despite the impact of technology, music still promotes cultures as usual and I admire musicians who still promote their culture with music. It's not something very common among young artists so when you see people who still do cultural music, it's important to give them a thumbs up.

The music as a whole has changed a lot because we now have lots of musicians across the globe and they give us different sounds to enjoy. I hate to condemn people's work because producing music requires lots of hard work so condemning musicians effort isn't a nice thing but if we are to be frank, there is a lot of music out there that makes me wonder what the musicians thought before going to the studio.

I have quite a lot of musicians I listen to and sometimes, I wish to meet them in person to say thank you to them. Ed Sheeran is one of those amazing musicians and his songs always melt my heart whenever I listen to him. One of the things that captures my heart in music is the instrumental and Ed Sheeran is awesome when it comes to that. He plays his guitar so calmly that it captures the heart of his listeners.

I play drumset and local drums even though I am not an expert in any but Guitar will always be my favorite. I remember the first time I listened to @olujay @starstringz play their guitar, I had goosebumps. Whenever a musician is good with the guitar, they capture my heart immediately and even if I will find fault in the music, it would be a case to trash after I have enjoyed the guitar.

Despite my love for instruments, I pay attention to lyrics a lot because there is power in lyrics as well. Imagine having a crazy instrumental and awesome lyrics in one music, it will become something irresistible for true music lovers.

I have attended concerts and they are mainly gospel concerts because gospel songs are the kind of music I still enjoy even when it's noisy, every other music becomes too loud in concerts and I don't enjoy it. I just prefer to use my headphones when listening to music and enjoy whatever the music is offering me.

When music is great, I love it and don't care if it's coming from my favourite or not. I don't follow the crowd or listen to people because they are famous. Whenever I have my earphones plugged in, all I want to hear is good music regardless of the genre.
