Mindful, Simple & Sustainable.
Undoubtedly, you all will agree that minimalism is a thoughtful approach to living. It emphasizes simplicity, clarity, and intentionality, attributes that can make life not just beautiful but meaningful, and fulfilling.
I have shared my journey a few times, and it's clear that the minimalist lifestyle has strongly influenced every aspect of my life leaving nothing behind.
The biggest of my testimonies would be how I finally let go of something that hurt me badly for years, causing me to develop hate. I kept clinging to the hurt for motivation and it worked but negatively. I was able to achieve what I wanted and proved to someone that I was better without him but because my motivation was anger-driven, I didn't feel any sense of success or fulfillment. It was so bad that I didn't see my growth, my struggle, pain, and victory didn't mean anything to me.
I opened up to my mentor, a minimalist who went through the process of letting go of the hate that was burning in me and it was then I experienced peace again. The type I last felt in 2009 and from that day, minimalism became a lifestyle. It taught me to focus on what truly matters, to be more intentional, creating space for meaningful experiences and growth.
In response to the kiss prompt, the three adjective that characterise my ideal minimalist lifestyle are:
Simple: Simplicity is one of the fundamental cores of minimalism and helps us focus on what truly matters.
By embracing simplicity, life immediately becomes different. It's always like that when you successfully eliminated the irrelevances in your possessions, commitments and distractions. The benefits of applying simplicity reduces stress for me because I always have little to do in an uncluttered space, relationship and life in general. A stress-free life means improved focus and I automatically gain a greater sense of purpose. With simplicity, life becomes easier and clarity is certain.
Sustainable: I have to realize in the past years that minimalism values aligns with eco-conscious choices and as someone who cares a lot of his environment, it all sits well me.
With sustainability in mind, I have cultivated the habit of reducing my consumption by recycling, upcycling, managing waste which all have a good impact on our environment. Over the years, I have successfully made useful items out of waste for people and somehow educated them on the importance of reusing when it's very possible.
Mindful: Every minimalist practice awareness in their daily lives and it enriches our day to day experiences because we cautiously choose quality over quantity in possessions, relationships, activities and other things we can think of.
Being mindful can help discover so many things about ourselves which includes the good and bad, opening our minds to things that needs adjustments so that we can improve for a greater life experience.
Looking at these adjectives, they are all connected because they help in making life beautiful in end.
With mindfulness, you can easily figure out the things that doesn't add value to you and cutting them off automatically helps you simplify. You have less to deal with in every area of your live and keeping it simple drives you in the path of living a sustainable lifestyle, putting less pressure on the ecosystem.

I love the part of you being mindful. Yes mindfulness is a big pert of minimalism and it's a good thing you practice it
Yes, it's very important that we are mindful. Practicing keeps us aware of everything- lapses & progress in our lifestyle.
I'm happy you got to know and embrace minimalist lifestyle.
Thanks mama, I appreciate the visit.
I also realized the same thing. My adjectives were interconnected and it’s almost as if while doing one, you are equally doing the rest. And that’s the beauty of a minimalist lifestyle just as you said.
Yes mama, they are connected. After all, we have one goal as minimalist- to live at our best.
