Envisioning A Borderless & Safe World.

I have imagined what a borderless world would look like several times and can't prevent myself from slipping into fantasy anytime the thought crosses my mind. It would mean that I could roam around the world without any restrictions and I doubt if there is anything bigger than that for someone who has the dream to visit different parts of the world someday. Combining the idea of a crime-free world with a borderless world would take things to a whole new level for me.

As sweet as it might be to dream of these things, a borderless and crime-free world is an impossibility especially at the point the world is, it's something that can never happen no matter how much we try. It's not just a thing with humans, nature designed us to value territory and the same thing happens among animals.

The need for borders is very important if we are being realistic and without it, the world will be in more chaos than it is at the moment. Getting rid of crime completely is impossible so security issues will always be here and it would be disastrous for a borderless world to happen when we will always have security problems.

Those borders play a vital role in security matters and without them, I can't imagine what would become of the human race. Imagine criminals being able to cross borders as they wish, that would only make things worse because they can seek refuge in any part of the world after committing heinous crimes. Unlike many people have imagined, a borderless world wouldn't birth a perfect world and it would only worsen things.

According to the prompt, let's imagine all these things are possible. A world without borders and security issues will make me one of the happiest people in the world.

I once shared in a prompt that one of the reasons why I wanted to be a pilot as a kid was to travel to many places across the world. Back then, I was thrilled by the things I saw on TV and at that age, I knew the world was a beautiful place. I wanted to see beyond where I was but all that ended firstly because travelling out of my country wasn't free and travelling within the country isn't safe, it was even better back then compared to now when a lot of dangerous things happen on the roads.

All these challenges attached to travelling suppressed my dream to see the world and I would still love to explore the world though but it would happen at the time when I am fully prepared. For now, I feel comfortable and safe in my home, the internet can take me around the world even though the first-class experience of being there physically is missing.

It's been a while since I left Lagos and I don't see myself doing that for any unreasonable purpose in a country where kidnapping has become a trend. If just travelling through some certain place isn't safe, what would happen with exploring the country?

As I mentioned earlier, it has always been a dream for me and this dream will become realistic if there are no borders or security issues. Instead of travelling by air, I would love to go by road just to explore the world more because there is more to see when you travel by road than going by air. I can halt my trip to any country to explore and learn about their culture.

I will choose to do road trips and live in a van house for as long as I wish since I wouldn't get robbed or kidnapped while hanging out in the woods. I can settle in any part of the world and live there for as long as I want, thinking of these things alone makes me happy and I can imagine how it would feel if these things could be accomplished.

I can get to explore nature more and might just switch professions since there are lots of jobs I can tap into. I don't need lots of money in a borderless world because I will practice a self-sufficient lifestyle with ease. I can use solar energy, grow my veggies on my van and food wherever I settle and do a whole lot of things.

The world will definitely be a beautiful place to live in but I don't see these things happening especially with me stuck in this part of the world. There will always be borders because they are very important and the evil in the heart of men will always make security an issue.

No doubt that borders have a role to play when it comes to security, but hinders our movement from one place to another.

You are right bro, we just have to settle with what will help the world as a whole which is embracing borders.

Thank you for sharing such a captivating vision of a borderless and safe world. The idea of roaming freely, exploring diverse cultures, and experiencing the natural beauty of our planet is indeed a wonderful dream.

Your thoughts about the challenges and realities of such a world are very insightful. You're right, borders do play a crucial role in maintaining security and order, and the idea of completely eradicating crime seems far-fetched given the current state of the world.

Yet, your vision of personal freedom, cultural exploration, and self-sufficiency in a borderless world is truly inspiring. It's a reminder of the beautiful diversity and potential that our world holds, and the possibilities that could arise if we could find a way to overcome our challenges.

While the reality may be far from this ideal, your post serves as a beautiful reminder of what we can aspire to. Thank you for sharing this dream with us. It's always refreshing to imagine the possibilities, even if they seem out of reach for now.

I agree with you. Having a world without boarding may not really give us a perfect world, things may even get worse.
Thanks for sharing
