Eating One Food For The Rest Of My Life.

The importance of food can’t be quantified and it means more than just what goes in the belly to end the hunger war. It provides us with strength that keeps us active not just physically but mentally as well.

Being a foodie, eating one food for the rest of my life might be really challenging. While growing up, I don’t like repeating a particular food twice a day. It’s not a family tradition and I just found it difficult to eat the same food twice. My mom never complained because it wasn’t an issue, I can settle for just garri and that’s all. It wasn’t like I was too demanding with the habit and it went on like that till I was 15 when I started working far away from home.

The job required lots of energy and junk wasn’t helping, I found myself eating Eba, fufu and bread+beans more than once a day just to stay in shape. There was nothing bad with it initially but it doesn’t just work for me.

Eating one particular food frequently ends up making me tired of the food and I can go on a long break for it again. If eating just one particular food for the rest of our lives becomes a new normal, I doubt if I won’t break the rule and hope it doesn’t come with a severe punishment.

Regardless of how bad it may be, there is one particular food I can eat for some time before breaking the law. The food can be prepared in different ways, it is a cultural thing for me and I hope the world doesn’t get to the stage of eating just one meal.

I mentioned the food in the short video, let me know your thoughts about it in the comment section.

Enjoy

Lolz, a traditional Nigeria plate should contain pounded yam, beef, ponmo, stock fish and many more.

Don't mind me, I felt it would be nice to share a food video since we are talking about food.

I definitely sent yours and you should have gotten it by now. Living on just one food will lead to crisis, probably I will just move to space 😂

But wait, Na all this ceremony on top noodles?? I for don finish to dey chop, and even the plate join by the time you finish. You be Chef Supreme, sir.

I like your choice of yam. There are different ways to prepare dishes with yam, and then keep the meals exciting. Let's not even talk of pounded yam. You are doing very well, sir.

Lolz, all that was just for the camera's sake. I don't have patience when it comes to noodles because it comes to mind only when I am very hungry and need something quick.

Yam can be processed in lots of ways truly, it's certain that you love pounded yam.
