🧠 Recall your travels, use your deductive skills or just make a guess - its all up to you!

🥇 4 HBD will go to the winner who can pinpoint the exact location.

OR

🏅 2 HBD will go whoever lands closest to the correct destination.

📍 The location will be revealed and winner will be announced in 7 days.

🌍 About This Project

This project is dedicated to all sea, land and Google Earth travelers, and anyone who loves to challenge their knowledge of our little blue planet by solving a weekly geo-quiz challenge.

  • The goal of this project is to connect travelers and satisfy their wanderlust with a little bit of intellectual thrill along the way.

  • The mission of this project is to boost engagement, reward outstanding travel content, and with time, grow into a daily game for all to participate and win rewards.

🎯 Where We're Headed:

We're working on GeoQuiz dApp that will eventually be another front-end to attract new users to HIVE. Some might not know this, but Geo-Quizes are no longer just fun little internet games - the game has evolved into a giant global tournament, with ranked players who can deduce the correct location on the globe by literally analyzing the grass, signs and shadows on the side of the road. They are paid celebrities in the world of 'pin-dropping'.

How amazing would it be to bring them on to HIVE, or create a whole new successful userbase of players in parallel?!

While this project is in its very infancy, it was already a success on @knOt, back when it was focused on maritime geo-quiz (which will also come back soon)

✍️ Travel Content Curation:

Another goal of this project is to improve the quality of travel content and help connect creators by setting a higher standard.

It's important not just to share your experiences, but also to share useful and practical information for future travelers.
Things like prices, distances and routes, customs restrictions, and other travel tips all contribute to a great post!

If you'd like to submit your travel blog for curation, add the hashtag #WhereOnEarth, and your post will be read and reviewed for a potential upvote and reblog.

To qualify, your blog must:

  • Use the tag #WhereOnEarth
  • Be +500 words
  • Include good-quality photos
  • Include GPS coordinates or a Google Maps screenshot
