I've read it from several people here (@acidyo for example) . Perhaps you should check the white paper or something. I know it will happen in a couple of years.

It's not going to phase out fully, ever year inflation is dropping by approximately 0.5%, in 11-12 years it'll drop to its lowest which is 0.5% of total hive supply, this naturally means that even staying at 0.5% it'll be inflationary over time as the total supply increases
Ha...nice. That explains it.
Thank you for dropping by and simplifying the explanation. I've never understood it this way until now.
It's not as concrete however, if you follow @dalz's posts you can tell that some years hive inflation is higher than others as it is based off of how hbd conversations occur, hbd apr and a lot of other things
Sometimes, I just get inundated by the technicalities no matter how hard I try to understand it. I should have studied finances in school instead of biological sciences. I would probably be very rich by now. This is my 7th year in crypto ffs.
To my understanding the inflation rate (65% of which goes to reward pool) will never drop below 0.95%. Someone chime in if I’m misinterpreting something
Yea, it has been clarified by Acidyo in the thread. You can check his comment
