Vornek – Disorientation | Minimal Techno Jam Session (Live on G-Stomper Producer) [EN/FR]

I’ve been experimenting with G-Stomper Producer for a while now, but today I finally took the time to record something from start to finish. Instead of endlessly tweaking sounds, I went for a simple jam session—hit play, build a few layers, and see where it goes.

The result is a short track of about 2 minute and 30 seconds, built entirely with synths. It leans toward minimal techno, repetitive and hypnotic in its own way.

Is it perfect? Not at all. But that’s exactly the point. This is my very first attempt at shaping a full moment of music, and I want to keep it as a milestone in my learning process.

While jamming, I discovered how much fun it is to play with filters and let the sound “fade out like a radio turning off,” only to bring it back again. That little trick gave the track more of a live feel.

Too often we wait until something feels “good enough” before showing it to others. But every journey has to start somewhere, and this track is my beginning. By putting it out here, I’m holding myself accountable and giving myself a reference point for the future.

I called the track “Disorientation” because that’s the feeling I had while jamming ^^

J’expérimente avec G-Stomper Producer depuis un moment déjà, mais aujourd’hui j’ai enfin pris le temps d’enregistrer quelque chose du début à la fin. Au lieu de passer des heures à peaufiner les sons, j’ai choisi de passer jam session : appuyer sur play, ajouter quelques couches, et voir ce qui en sort.

Le résultat est un petit morceau d’environ 2 minutes 30, entièrement construit avec des synthés. Ça tend vers la techno minimale, répétitive et hypnotique à sa façon.

Est-ce que c’est parfait ? Loin de là. Il y a beaucoup d'erreurs. Mais c’est justement l’idée. C’est ma toute première tentative pour créer un vrai moment musical, et je veux le garder comme une étape marquante dans mon apprentissage.

Pendant la jam, j’ai découvert à quel point c’était amusant de jouer avec les filtres et de laisser le son “s’éteindre comme une radio”, pour ensuite le ramener d’un coup. Ce petit effet a donné au morceau un côté plus vivant.

Trop souvent, on attend que quelque chose soit “assez bon” avant de le montrer. Mais chaque parcours commence quelque part, et ce morceau est mon point de départ. En le publiant ici, je me donne un repère pour le futur et je m’engage à progresser.

J’ai appelé ce morceau “Disorientation”, parce que c’est exactement ce que j’ai ressenti en jouant ^^
