Gold closed today at another ATH! Along with Silver! Now Gold even higher in futures. It’s been a crazy move from $3500 - $4250 in just 6 weeks or so! Silver spot still ahead of contract but it’s come down to within about .80 cents or so no longer $3.00 spread. Let’s talk about it! Gold moved up in the 40 minutes since recording so I’ll post updated prices in cover & I’ll update below vlog.

It's interesting to see how things worked out, but I agree that the market is very picky. I think the days where everything pumped has gone away.
Gold and silver Nominal ATHs! What a difference a month makes.
The Hive price is getting depressing, glass half empty.
I got a bunch of liquid HBD to buy cheap Hive, glass half full.
What is being done to fix Hive?
Do our top Witnesses have any plan?
No plan. They milk value so don’t want change. Growth would mean they loose 90% control they have. At this point it’s hard not to believe it’s on purpose, just being honest.
I still plan on posting daily regardless of hive price going lower next 18 months and likely by 50%. But I have fun so I’m sticking around. I expect a few projects to pack it in when this price dip becomes obvious it’s not a temporary blip, but I’m hoping the pain wakes people up and brings positive change! We shall see 🤷🏼♂️

thanks for your blunt presentation. i didn't want to believe that Hive is in so bad condition but i am coming around to your point of view. i was foolish enough to convert some swap.btc to swap.hive when it crashed (1:802000) but it was a dead cat bounce. the ratio for december 31, 2023, btc/hive was about 1:130000. this ship is slowly sinking- I keep earning Hive and HBD but the USD value of my account is sinking.
gold and silver continually making new highs is great news for stackers but ultimately the reasons behind the rise are scary. serious crisis ahead.

I love the hive community & platform and trade time & effort daily for HP & HBD, but personally not going to be adding outside funds to buy Hive since it’s obviously heading lower.
I got lucky doing a power down in October 2021 and got a lot out above $2.00 & even two weeks worth above $3.00 so that paid for all my HP since I bought most sub ten cents in 2020. It’s all house money plus nice profit so can’t complain but I must admit I also sold when we pumped in January to .68 cents knowing and saying at tike we’d be back in teens even with a new BTC & ETH All time high. I ended up being right so glad I sold all my HSBI & extra stuff linked to price. The 11K I have left now I’m not touching and if it goes down so be it. It’s house money so whatever.
The DHF is printing too much and that’s putting pressure on Hive Via HBD Stabilizer so I fear we will definitely go below .07 - .08 cents in 2026 or latest 2027.
